Love my taco shell fryer . Had to use a a big stock pot . Used a 1 gallon and 2 -3 quarts of corn oil or Avacado oil o just enough to submerge the shell makers . The only thing I had trouble with , was when I put the corn tortillas on the shell maker they would crack in half at the bend . So what I did was brush little with Avacado oil in the center and stacked them like laying down cards . Put them in the oven for a few minutes to soften then wrapped them one at a time and placed in slots and in oil make sure oil is very hot 350. Depending how you like your shells few minutes. Still love my new gadget. Beats doing one at a time !! Especially when you have to make 60 taco shells!!

I've seen aluminum cans that were better than this, total waste of money and poorest quality product, Oh, I see it was made in China well that explains it.
