I really like this tripod! Yes, the clasps on the legs are plastic and the neck swivels loosely... would be nice if it locked into place. Still, for the money, the value is definitely there. I've used the tripod many times already and it's holding up great! I really like the balance indicator and the flexible feet on the legs as it helps with uneven terrain. I would recommend and buy again. Also, side note, I'm not necessarily easy with my things so they tend to break if not made well... the fact that it's holding up to my usage really says a lot.

I honestly didn’t expect to love this tripod as much as I do. I got it mainly for overhead recipe videos and thought it would just be “okay,” but it turned out to be exactly what I needed and more. It’s super tall (way taller than I expected), very stable, and surprisingly easy to adjust — even when I’m filming alone.The overhead arm has been a game changer for top-down baking shots, and the little remote makes solo filming so much easier. I also used the monopod function for some outdoor shots with my phone, and it worked great!It folds down nicely into the carry bag, which is super convenient for storage. If you're filming anything at home or outside — just get it. I use it way more than I thought I would!

Great upgrade to a fluid head tripod for smooth video pans. I stream my kids hockey using attached DSLR and iPhone cameras and this fluid head was a great upgrade helping to smooth out as I follow the action across the ice. Well constructed and sets up easily in different arenas.

I would rate this my favorite tripod if it weren't for another Neewer I own that has a completely different leg type.We needed a very specific type of leg system, coupled with a smooth video head, and this tripod was far and away the best choice for the price. I have zero complaints, and will always be looking at Neewer tripods before any others for future shopping.
