Had a bad sty & regular heated compresses always lost heat too quickly. Honestly, the included gel pack did not stay warm much longer. However.. the gel insert is removable & replacing it with a battery or USB-charged hand warmer worked like a charm. I moisten the pad, them place the hand warmer on low inside the pouch. Heat & moisture is retained a whole lot longer & is more effective at treating stys. Freezing the gel insert can cause it to burst, so a long stretch of refrigeration is best for reducing swollen eyes. I took one star off due to the short heat duration & potential bursting factor of the gel pack.

Great aide for eye infection. I recently had a stye on my left upper eyelid, and this came in super handy. Zapper it for 20sec in the microwave, and it is a nice warm (but not too warm) temp to apply as a warm compress. The "beads" retain heat nicely, and the fabric of the patch is comfortable. A nice value for the money too. For eye-related medical condition, or just weary eyes this is a nice aide to have around.

It's very helpful when you have a stye! I love that you can remove the cover and wash it between uses.

For a family that seems to constantly getting things in our eyes this is perfect. Just heat up the compress and put it in the mask and you can go on your way making use very easy. Fits both my kids and myself.

When I've been looking at screens too long or haven't slept for a while (bit of a night owl) one of my eyes gets very sore, watery and my eyelid swells up making blinking REALLY painful! But this little thing is a big help, just pop in the microwave for a few secs (not too long as it gets hot) and place over head and on sore eye. Soothes, relives discomfort, reduces swelling and can be flipped to use on either eye. Pain relief that makes you feel like a pirate!

I got this eye mask to help a chalazion/stye that I have had on my upper eyelid for quite a while and overall it has worked well for me. Once you warm it up, it provides gentle moist heat that feels soothing and helps relax the area around the eye. Using it regularly became part of my daily routine until it goes away and over time I definitely noticed an improvement with the eyelid feeling less irritated and more comfortable. The mask itself is soft and comfortable to wear and I like that it is washable which makes it feel more hygienic for repeated use. It sits well over the eyes without applying too much pressure but this can be managed by the strap around it if you want more or less pressure, allowing you to relax while using it. The size and design make it easy to position properly so the warmth reaches the affected area. The only reason I have not given this five stars is because the heat does not last very long. After just a few minutes it cools down quite a bit which means it needs reheating to complete a full session. Despite that it has still been effective for my needs and I would recommend it as a helpful option, just with the expectation that the warmth does not hold for extended periods.

I had the worst stye in my life recently and after using the double on of these every hour for ~10 minutes throughout one day I saw it off. Obviously the eyelid needs to heal but the actual sore part and the majority of inflammation was killed off in one day. Using a flannel with hot water is useless, you can get about 3 minutes of decent heat at most and you get wet etc. With this I could go about my normal business and let it do its thing. I wore it side-saddle so it only covered the affected eye and loved it so much I have now bought this single one to make this even easier.

I have this eye mask for a months now. It was fairly cheap in price, it has a soft velour feel to the eye patch part and elasticated strap to go around the head which makes it fit snugly. Although microwaveable, I found that one of the plastic pieces that hold the strap melted a little, although it’s still useable. The quality of the mask is fine, and probably similar to others on the market It’s ok, but I found that it cools off very quickly, then needs reheating. I just found this annoying, and found a hot wet flannel and a bowl of hot water far more effective personally!

Worked wonders to help heal an eye infection. Comfortable to wear.
