It took us a couple of days and several tries to get the door up and hung just right. We did mount it on a 2x4, which we attached to our plaster walls with construction screws, because our base boards are thick. However, once hung, it looks beautiful and works smoothly. The door itself is quite heavy (but in a good way). Considering this will be up in the house for at least 20 years, it is a great value for the money.

I liked i the farm door came fully assembled and build strong and beautiful done. I had to drill different holes on the track to hit the stud. Other than that is easy to install.

The look and fit and finish of this door is great, but the installation instructions leave a lot to be desired.Instructions specify the location for drilling the holes for the roller hardware, so i don’t know why the door doesn’t come pre drilled, especially since it’s already milled for the door handle and floor guide.Measurements in the manual are in precise decimal units making it tricky using typical tools like tape measures.There’s no mention of using a header board, but you will need to because the chances of hitting a stud with their mounting system is zero.By far, my biggest issue was figuring out where the rail should hang width-wise over the door. It isn’t specified in the manual like the height is, so it took some time, math and a lot of patience to figure out before sending the lag bolts onto my wall.Adding to the confusion, the track on the bottom of the door doesn’t go end-to-end, so I had to be sure the door would be exactly in the correct position while opened and closed before installing the floor guide.

I decided to do some remodeling in regards to my vanity room door. I have a typical door - but I thought that a Barn door of sorts would make this even more beautiful. I tend to love the "Farmhouse" and "Shabby Chic" type of decor. After viewing what seemed like two thousand doors (slightly exaggerated) - I found this super lovely Barn door made by the DELAVIN store. Based on the visuals- I wanted to order this and therefore, I did. Now that I have this home and installed- I will say YES, this is such a high quality piece of furniture. The barn door exudes everything that I wanted in my new door. I can tell that the designer opted to use only premium grade material. I absolutely love the (5) panel glass in this door. The choices are very nice and the quality is superb. The level of elevation this has added to my vanity room is very impressive. At no time did I see or encounter issues of defects, damage or stains that could otherwise lessen the overall value. Therefore, based on how extremely pleased I am with my new glass barn door- I would be happy to recommend this to other consumers. Thank you so much for reading my review. This thing is really easy to put together, but most of all it is absolutely beautiful. It definitely brings out the room.
