An excellent, sturdy multi-steamer that works across your 3-ply pan set - fitting pan sizes of 16-20cm in diameter. This is a really useful companion to the fixed size 20cm steamer, that works with 20cm saucepans/casseroles/stockpots (or the 24cm equivalent). At busy times like Christmas, when you're steaming multiple vegetables at once, having both of these to stack, or use on separate rings is real time saver. Although these are made for the Le Creuset 3-ply Stainless Steel Pan range, I expect they can also be used with other manufacturer's ranges - but that would need to be checked independently by a prospective buyer.

As you would expect beautifully made and fit for purpose. Unfortunately for me it was too large for my needs but would recommend.

This Le Creuset Stainless Steel Steamer has a graduated base to work with their 16cm, 18cm or 20cm saucepans. It has a generous capacity so will easily accommodate a few different food/vegetable items in one steam. The glass lid has a small steam release hole. Once the water has boiled and reduced to a simmer, it will typically take around 6-8 minutes to nicely cook a range of mixed vegetables, whilst retaining their flavour and texture. The steamer base is also of sufficient size to steam reheat a meal and works very well for warming through cooked/roasted meat without any drying out. Stainless steel is more difficult to clean when washing up manually but avoids the plastics in non-stick products. Baking soda or a propriety stainless steel cleaner will remove any stubborn marks. If using a dishwasher, the entire Le Creuset 3 ply stainless steel range cleans brilliantly.

Well made steamer which is style personified. Unfortunately, I would have never bought a steamer with no handles and must have been looking at the photos from the 24 size steamer.
