This shampoo lathers really easily. I always shampoo twice, as it seems to keep my hair cleaner longer. It rinses out easily. It has a bit of a lingering scent, but it's not bad. After shampooing, my hair feels really clean. It's too early to know if it helps with hair loss, but I'm hoping it does!

I love their original (green label) shampoo. It is amazing and helps a lot with hair shedding. This new version (only orange) has a few small changes in contrast to the original. The second and new ingredient in new version is water (aqua), which is a bummer. This means it’s been diluted.The first 6 ingredients order has changed:Old version: Chamaecyparis Obtusa Water, Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Lactate, Acrylates CopolymerNew version: Chamaecyparis Obtusa Water, Water (aqua), Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate, Sodium Lactate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Acrylates CopolymerAnd the final change in the new product is the addition of Sodium Polynaphthalenesulfonate (it is at the bottom of the ingredient list.I haven’t used the new version yet, but I dropped a star based off the fact that they diluted the product by adding water as its second ingredient. I will update when I start using this new version, but I am bummed about them changing their formula.Update: after using it, you can tell it is a little runnier, and the scent isn’t as strong, but it has the same scent. I’ve used it for about 3 weeks and I haven’t noticed a drastic change with my hair. Maybe it’s not as nice as the original formula but it’s not causing any issues with excess shedding or any other negative changes.

I have long hair that is relatively healthy but have been experiencing shedding recently and have been doing what I can to stop the shedding as well as increase hair strength and nourishment. This shampoo contains biotin, 17 amino acids, and 5 peptides which help to increase the health of the scalp and repair damaged hair.The first thing that I noticed with this particular Korean shampoo is that the formula is creamier than typical western shampoos. I've also used other Korean shampoos in the past and not seen this type of consistency so I think this might be due to the nutrient composition which is very interesting. It lathers very easily before I apply and focus on my scalp. Due to the ingredients, I like to apply once, rinse, and then apply a second time and leave it for a few minutes like a treatment so that I can get the full benefits. The smell is a fresh, natural smell - when the product says that it is 'Unscented', I believe it is more that there are no added fragrances. I actually quite like the scent which is light and fades quickly. My hair felt clean without being stripped which is important for health and ensuring that the scalp is hydrated. After drying, my hair looked shiny, clean, and full of volume!Overall, I am impressed with this shampoo and would recommend it!

The product arrived in minimal, efficient, economical packaging. There is little to no fragrance to the shampoo. The bottle is large, and will last this single short haired human many many months. I can't claim that the biotin helps thicken my hair or anything, as I am aging, and hair loss in inevitable. However, this doesn't hurt. The pump is a welcome addition as the bottle is a bit unwieldly if it had a squeeze nozzle.

I recently switched to a different conditioner which apparently is not as fragrant as the conditioner I was using when I first started using this shampoo. I didn't mention this before, but my nose doesn't work well and mostly only picks up strong scents. I guess my previous conditioner was masking most of the scent of this shampoo because my husband (with a standard nose) has now commented that sometimes my hair smells "kind of like that yellow rice, " by which he means 'turmeric rice.' I've caught a few whiffs of that bitter smell as well since switching conditioners, mostly while blow drying the underside of my hair. So depending on how well your nose works and what other products you use in your hair, you may or may not have some lingering smells similar to turmeric in your hair while using this shampoo. I still like how my hair feels using this shampoo, but I do worry about the unusual scent being off-putting or distracting.ORIGINAL REVIEW:This is a very thick shampoo that goes quite a long ways and lathers up well. I have fine, not thick hair, but it is very long and reaches past my waist so normally I use quite a bit of hair product in order to get everything cleaned and conditioned. However, the amount that I pumped into my hand in my video was enough for washing all of my hair, which is less than I have needed to use with my previous shampoo.There is an earthy, slightly bitter smell to this shampoo, but I could only detect it while lathering up and there was no remaining scent on my hair after rinsing it. I don't want to say that it smells exactly like turmeric, but maybe in a similar scent family, if that makes sense. I didn't feel any residue on my hair afterwards and I felt like my hair was well moisturized, not dry at all. Considering that I only need one full pump of shampoo to wash my hair (compared to the 3+ pumps of my previous shampoo) and the size of the bottle, I expect that this should last me quite a while, although that will obviously vary from person to person.Despite the odd smell to the shampoo, overall I like how my hair feels and since the scent doesn't linger and I haven't had any skin or scalp irritation, I'm happy to keep using it in my hair care routine. I'm not sure how one can really tell if a product is truly thickening hair growth, but my thin hair could use all the help it can get so I'll keep up with it.

I wanted to try out this shampoo and I'm glad I did. It is super concentrated and I haven't needed much to use while washing my hair. It leaves my hair feeling moisturized and soft. Great shampoo!
