AXR100D - Separate 100 Watts Stereo Hi-FI Receiver with Integrated Phono Stage, Dab/FM Radio and Bluetooth 5.0 - Lunar Grey

I bought to replace a defunct 80's amplifier. I wanted a digital receiver and the ability to integrate all my equipment and TV. Generally pleased with the sound and the sound stage, the mix of digital and analogue inputs is excellent. I can use my TVs optical output to put the sound through the hi-fi speakers. The CD now works through a line input rather than my previous amp which tended to overload the inputs, and the phono input is via a Cambridge AVO MC pre-amp. The digital radio and FM both work well though the setting of the pre-sets is not easy. Only downside is the device has an internal fan which is audible during silences in the audio, most of the time it's not audible but if you mute the sound you can hear it quietly purring away. The remote is a bit plastic as well, but that's minor it controls everything well. I did not want to spend a fortune on a new part of the system and this fitted my bill easily.

Ik kocht een receiver, maar het geluid van de ventilator voor de koeling is veel te luid en is op lage volumes harder dan de weergave via de speakers. Jammer.

Très élégant, produit soigné et son à la hauteur de nos attentes

Il sintoampligicatore è massiccio ed il peso del toroidale si sente. Qualità audio, a mio parere, buona ed ottimo il fattore di distorsione. Il bluetooth mi sembra buono ed è perfetto nel pairing. Onestamente mi aspettavo qualcosa di più. La potenza di 100watt c'è tutta. Radio DAB buona anche se nella mia zona la ricezione non è completa. In mancanza del loudness ho preferito aumentare un po' i toni anche se l'amplificatore è molto ben equilibrato e restituisce una buona gamma sonora. In prova da 4 giorni ancora non mi ha stupito se non nella bassa distorsione a volume max. La ventola si sente ma personalmente non trovo sia fastidiosa. Telecomando poco pratico a causa di troppi tasti per giunta troppo piccoli. Non ha un pulsante di spegnimento totale per cui va solo in standby. In sintesi, da 1 a 10: 8!
