Great upgrade for my old 36 volt Club Car
I ordered this 36 volt battery to replace the six 6 volt lead acid battery's ($1200 to replace and only a year warranty) for my old Club Car golf cart. The upgrade to this battery was less than 1/2 the cost. The conversion was easier than we thought. We had to fabricate some tie-down straps to secure the much smaller and lighter battery. The charger works perfectly and I'm impressed with how quickly it charges up. Now the real test...my grandsons driving it around the lake community love the increase in performance, better speed due to thebmuch lighter weight and better power. We all also like the app on our phones that allow each of us to monitor the battery's condition. Glad we did the conversion to get the old cat going again even better than before at a price I could afford.

LOVE THIS BATTERY 👍 IT'S A NO BRAINER
Did a lot of research & went with DC HOUSE! Anybody fixing to replace their old standard lead acid batteries for their EZGO golf cart should replace with LiFePO4 battery!!! Their lifespan is longer, the golf cart is faster, there's no maintenance and needs A LOT LESS CHARGING. 🤗 Before was charging every 3-4 days and now every 2-3 weeks! The battery is light (only 62lbs) compared to 6 batteries at 348lbs. Installation was very easy!... which I also mounted the charger under the seat (see pic) I removed the D shaped charging port/connector for old charger and replaced it with a template & plug outlet (ordered from Amazon) which all I do now is plug in a regular extension cord to charge. In addition to all the advantages of this battery... I SAVED $383 switching to DC House's LiFePO4 battery vs Trojan's standard 6V lead acid batteries!!!!! The worst thing I can honestly say about this... is the monitor. It's not set up to be mounted on a golf cart BUT since the battery &charger are Bluetooth and with the DC HOUSE app, you really don't need the monitor.

Seems to be a significant improvement over lead acid batteries!
Installation in my 2009 EZGO PDS was fairly easy, and replaced 360 lbs of lead acid batteries with a 65 lb battery. The width of the new battery is the same as the original set, but you may need to cut off the spacer tabs first. I purched ratchet straps to hold down the battery. Just connect the cables and you're ready to go. The apps for battery voltage and remaining power are great. I hardwired the local power / capacity indicator into the dash using the key switch for ground and power. The phone app provides more detailed information, but you have to select which app you want to use (changing between the onboard indicator and phone is easy). Hopefully the capacity of the new kit will exceed the previous setup. I'll provide an update if there are any issues.

Great Upgrade!
Battery works great so far. Seems to go down about 10% every 3 miles or so. I do have my lights hooked up directly to the battery so maybe that draws more power. Install was VERY EASY. Removed my old lead acid batteries and replaced with this one. As others have mentioned, you do have to remove the tabs from the tray that were there to hold the lead acid batteries. The battery itself (along with the metal case) is slightly larger than the battery tray slot so I had to add a few 2x4 pieces underneath. Added a 2x4 behind and rubberized tool box lining underneath to keep it from sliding. Ratchet strap it tight! Kept my wiring exactly the same. Went from lead acid to lithium directly. I used my old D style plug with the new lithium charger in order to not have to bypass the Reed switch. Also…Cart goes about 2 mph faster now and has more torque!

Great product, not easy to install or wire up. Needs better directions….
I give 5 starts for the product, but it was not easy and I have the original wiring papers for my cart. I searched youtube etc for more detailed instructions to no avail. I built a new frame to hold the battery. It works like a charm, just love it compared to the old 6-6v batteries (36 volt cart). Be sure to get a converter for your 12 volt lights. There is a pad that came with the battery, I wrote customer service and after 5 days have not heard what it is for? Anyone know?
