perfect for a tiny home
This is a nice, sleek, small cooktop. We are installing it in a 300 sf cottage in our backyard that has a kitchenette. It's just enough for all the cooking needs we have out there. Paired with a really nice toaster ove/air fryer, it's perfect! Installation is straightforward.

Really nice-looking cooktop that can be used in or out of counter
I originally ordered this Karinear Countertop cooktop to use in our grandson's kitchen but unfortunately, his travel trailer did not have the convert-over for the 220 I thought he had and is needed for this burner. This is a nice-looking burner; it can be used as a drop-down on the countertop or above the counter with mounting feet. This is a hard wire and will need an electrician, no plug.

GLASS BREAKS EASY
Cracks if water hits it when it’s cold. Would not buy again. Glass way too cheap.

Good midgrade cooktop
This smaller 4 burner cooktop is a good midrange option. Great for adding some cooking space to smaller areas. We have a kitchenette in the basement with a little island, which this cooktop fit perfectly. Looks sharp and cleans easily. Controls are responsive and decent heating speeds so far, but do want to see if that slows over time with regular use. So far, a great space saving functional addition.

Works great
Just had it install and it works great. Used as a temporary replacement but will keep instead. Looks great and easy to install. Very easy to maintain and keep clean. Nice oven top for the price

Looks good, some concerning 'smoke' and interior condensation upon use
I am reviewing the Karinear 24 Inch electric cooktop, which at the time of this review was $229. We didn't jump right in and install this prior to testing, instead opting to hook it up to give it a thorough test before we did a full install. Upon first impression, it's a nice little cooktop. The 6000W is an accurate description of its power use, with 2 1800W and 2 1200W elements. That's plenty of power for this size. The burners look to be essentially the same as any typical cooktop of this type, so if one goes out they are relatively easy to replace. The dials have a satisfying 'click' when you turn them, though they might be a little too easy to turn if you are getting in there to clean. However, the indicator lights are nice and bright to let you know if you turned something on inadvertently. Oddly, the dials for each burner seem to be arranged with a confusing logic...where as you go down the knobs, you end up going counterclockwise around the burners, starting from the bottom right. It's just a weird design choice that will take some getting used to. The 24" wide form factor would be good for a smaller kitchen, like that found in an apartment, but keep in mind this means the cooking rings are closer together, so if you have larger pots, they may fight for the limited space. The cooktop itself is quite thin, which is nice since you could install this and still have room for a nice wide silverware drawer underneath it. My big concern was upon firing this up, there was some 'smoke' coming from one side of the unit. If we had installed this in place before testing, we would have never known this. Each burner came with some 'smoke', as you can see in the video. We removed the top to see what was going on, but there was no sign of burnt wires or melted plastic. However, we did see quite a bit of condensation inside the cooktop, despite this being stored indoors prior to testing. Our 'hunch' is that the ceramic rings under the burners probably had quite a bit of moisture remaining them, which evaporated out and then re-condensed inside the unit. So that smoke was probably just steam, but something that definitely concerned us at first and not something I feel should have left the factory in that condition. Had I installed this first and then noticed that, I would have had to remove the entire assembly and check for damages, which would have doubled my install time. Not something a customer should have to deal with. You can see the condensation in one of my photos. I also have a beef with sellers who advertise at a high price with constant large coupons. It breaks the sorting algorithm for customers trying to search by price, it messes up price tracking, and as a vine member, I pay income tax on the full price of the product, before the coupon. So I'm paying unnecessary tax on top of all the other risks I take with reviewing a high ticket item like this. Minus one star for that behavior.

Works well but would be easier to use with knobs
This is a cooktop that heats up so much faster than a 110v cooktop. After trying a couple 110 volt cooktops if found you just couldn't get the power needed to properly. This cooktop changed all that. The 220 volt operation gives it all the power you need to cook with both burners. It takes a while to get used to the touch panel control and the child safety lock is a bit too sensitive. I'd prefer knobs so you don't have to think about operation of the cooktop.
