This favorite clean ingredient sunscreen!

When I booked a trip to St Croix, Virgin Islands, I quickly learned it was required to wear Reef Safe sunscreen when swimming around the coral reef. After a quick search, I happened upon this sunscreen and felt good about the ingredients that were going on my body and knowing I was protecting marine life. The product itself is not sticky or greasy and doesn't wash off in the water. It goes on white but after thoroughly rubbing it in, it's barely noticeable. After spending 3 hours in direct sun on a boat and swimming in the ocean, I was NOT sunburned. That says a lot for someone with very fair skin. Things to note, a little bit goes a long way and it's thick. I put little dots allover my body and then rub it all in connecting the dots. Now our entire family, including 3 kids, use this product without any skin reactions or sunburns. It's a mistake buy!!

My original review is below where I noticed the bottle said Titanium Dioxide vs Zinc Oxide. I had title my review that I received the wrong product. I reached out to the company on Instagram and they responded: "We recently discovered that a small batch of our Happy Ocean SPF 45 Zinc-based Mineral Sunscreen was printed with an incorrect Drug Facts panel on the back label. The formula inside is absolutely our correct zinc-based sunscreen with WetBoost™ technology — just as shown in the Amazon listing and images — but the label was mistakenly designed using the Drug Facts from our SPF 30 Sport, which contains titanium dioxide. This was a label design error (not a packaging error), and unfortunately it slipped through during a rush to keep up with demand. As soon as we became aware, we halted that batch and corrected the design for all future runs." The offered a refund but it was not necessary as I used the product. Now I know why it spread like Zinc Oxide, because it was! I appreciate their response and wanted to update my review accordingly. It is a great product! On the plus side, it works incredibly well and is very water resistant. Now the negative, I bought this very expensive sunscreen 100% because it is a "non-nano Zinc oxide" sunscreen. I never thought to check but in reading another review, the poster said they received Titanium Dioxide - sure enough I check my bottle and I received the same thing! What the heck - this is FALSE ADVERTISING as the picture in the listing shows the back of the bottle clearly labeled as "Zinc Oxide 19% (non-nano)". I can buy this size of Titanium Dioxide sunscreen for half this price. I want my money back! What is odd is that it spreads just like a zinc oxide sunscreen, so I'm questioning if it was mis-labeled or what????

Very nice tinted sunscreen. Goes on smoothly and not thick like some of them. Would recommend.

This product I can not say enough about. You need very little for full coverage. Goes on white and you must rub it in good, but it seriously works!! No sunburn at all....just golden brown tan!!!! Just got back from Aruba for a week and didn't even use 1/2 of this small tube for my husband & I !! A little goes a long way!! Great product!! 10 out of 10 !!

They are dedicated to protecting our skin while also keeping our oceans safe. Their reef-safe, non-toxic mineral sunscreens are a total win! I love that they use plant-based materials, and it makes me feel great using it on my toddler! The price point is a little more than your banana boat but the ingredients are much safer! Plus, a little goes a long way, and you’re helping marine life while you’re at it!

Be careful with this mineral sunscreen. I don’t have eczema and I don’t have sensitive. skin, but it left a rash on my neck five days after I removed it. It also left a white tint on my face.
