Works perfectly for holding the phone during indoor bike workouts

I bought this to mount my MagSafe phone onto the Garmin mount on my bike during INDOOR training sessions. It works perfectly and holds the phone securely. But, no way I would use it for an outdoor ride.

For my needs, this is a 5 star, but I am going to be super critical seeing I have quite a few KOM products and they could have stepped it up just a little bit here. The magnet for the MagSafe is good, but not great. I have a MagSafe mount in my truck and it is much more secure than this is. Does my phone fall off of this while I am stationary on the bike? nope, but if I was exhausted from an indoor ride (which this is for indoor riding only), I could see myself fumbling with my phone and knocking it off. The 2nd star off is that they could have either included a 45 degree adapted or put a hinge mount on the plate. If you mount this on your standard wahoo mount, the phone is flat and kind of useless. I designed and 3D printed a simple riser for it. Essentiall, I can then use my phone as either the virtual platform computer or use it to watch videos while my computer is mounted in front of me (which is my use case). Overall this is a good product and I am being critical, but you can't go wrong with it.

Would be cool if it charged via USB C cable. Pricey as well.

Junk. Lasted 5, maybe 6, indoor workouts before the top surface layer began to delaminate. Presumably from moisture/ambient humidity ingress. Upon inspection, the portion that started to peel back is only secured by sloppily applied adhesive (no screws, beads, nor any other sturdy fastener). Had the edges of the top layer been lined with a rubber gasket of some sort, it would’ve made for a more robust, moisture resistant product.

Works great indoors

Great place to put the phone when Zwifting*, stays attached securely and allows you to use companion app without having to mess about getting phone out of jersey, off a table or wherever you normally keep it and worry about sweaty hands dropping it *Other indoor training apps are available and I'm sure this mount would do exactly the same job for any of them as well

Intended for indoor use only. The MagSafe connection will not reliably hold your phone to the bike outdoors.

Absolute garbage after cycling for maybe five minutes hit a small bump in the road my phone went flying. Completely destroyed the value my phone and now that I’ve got a cracked screen I warn you all don’t buy it.
