Works perfectly. Shows result accurate, comfortable especially at night when babybis sleeping, you check fewer in a second not even touching baby. Make sure not to drop it because than it shows wrong results and you have to buy new one.

This thermometer is great! Easy to use and read, Sound on and off options. Saved past temps. Love that it is infrared as well , functionality wise it is touch free to what you're measuring. Its size is also perfect, fits comfortably in hand, light weight and travel friendly. Will probably buy a second for my downstairs medicine cabinet as well.

I had my gallbladder removed a few days ago and started feeling feverish the next day. After checking out 10 or 15 thermometers, I chose this one because it had the lowest percentage of 1-star reviews, but they were all correct. When I took my temperature, it gave me readings from 97.8 to 101.9 when I took it 5 or 6 times in a row in the same spot just seconds apart. I did this several times over the next hour and kept getting the same inconsistent readings so I realized I couldn't depend on it. After a night of chills, sweating, and coughing, I had my wife take me to the ER where they discovered I was feverish and had contracted the flu while I was in the hospital. My wife also has the flu now and the same thing happened when we used it on her. This thermometer is not just worthless, but it could put someone's life in danger if they depended on it to determine if they need medical attention.
