Good quality. Perfect rod to go with my Shimano SLX 70. Really good for lightweight lures.

Butt end to long
Don't get me wrong I really like ugly stick but this isn't a good buy if the new ugly sticks are all like this I will have to find another brand. To start with I have used ugly stick for years now but the butt end of this is so long it's redickquless I fishing from a kyak and it's almost impossible to cast with this thing. The butt end is way to long to cast from a kyak it is 6inch longer from real to end then my older ones I will be sending it back.

Spike on top
I’m not sure if this is a design flaw or a manufacturing mistake. But this molded spike on the top that just pokes into your hand is terrible.
