This is very value for money. It contains 18 strains which is impressive in itself. The quantities of each strain are modest but not really low, below 1 billion each. Some probiotics barely give you 1 billion cells per capsule! There are a reasonable number of bifido species which I personally favour. Mostly lactobacillus sp. as you would expect. Plus Enterococcus faecalis which is a great strain and non-spore forming like the others. And Streptococcus thermophilus, which is commonly found in yoghurt. Spore forming species tend to pass through rather than repopulate. Stand out species I would say are B. animalis, B.infantis, L. reuteri, L. plantarum, L. rhamnosus and L. gasseri. I could personally do without the L. bulgaricus which is a D-Lactate rather than L-Lactate producing bacteria, which is often found in yoghurt, and you don't want too much D-Lactate or you may end up fatigued. With so many other great strains, why bother adding it? Overall, great.

They have 10 billion live bacteria per capsule, featuring 18 strains including L. acidophilus and Bifidobacterium. The capsules are vegetarian-friendly, gluten and dairy-free, making them a great choice for those with dietary restrictions. The dosage is one per day - they capsules are easy to take and good value at 22 pence per day. There’s also a 30 day pack if you want to try with a smaller quantity. They are made in the EU for Sigma Biotics based in Manchester.

I’ve been using these for several weeks now and they seem to be helping me with bloating and cramping.Each capsule is about 2cm in length and less that half a cm in width, making them easy and streamline to swallow, however, if you still find it difficult, the capsules are easy to pull apart and contain powder which can be sprinkled over food or added to liquid.The instructions on the bottle are a bit hit and miss, suggesting that these be taken 20-30mins before a meal but then goes on to say to take these during a meal. So I guess it’s up to each individual to find their perfect time to administer these.The bottle reports it contains 10billion colony forming units in 18 strains and is suitable for vegan, vegetarian and gluten free diets however it’s interesting to note that there’s also a disclaimer on the bottle stating that ‘the food and drug administration has not evaluated these statements’. So make of that, as you will.The bottle contains 60 supplements and the suggested dose is 1 a day, so these should last a couple of months making these good value.So far, they are proving beneficial to me and a lot of my stomach niggles have eased since taking these, so I’ve nothing to report but positivity and will definitely purchase another bottle.

Having suffered from too many antibiotics over a short period of time together with persistent after effects of food poisoning , I was looking for ways to improve my gut health without eating and drinking weird fermented foods. I know that is what you are supposed to do, but I knew I would never sustain that as a normal part of my diet. Yes supplements are cheating , but better that than nothing. I have used this brand previously to good effect and I know that probiotics improve gut health and digestion; boost immunity, and support mental well-being. This is a quality probiotic supplement which is easy to add to a morning routine and is a reasonable price and convenient size for a two month supply.

Right then, so I've been trying out this SigmaBiotics Probiotic Complex, and it's got a fair few different types of friendly bacteria in it, apparently eighteen in total. The label lists them all out, so I’ve copied them here: Bifidobacterium animalis lactis, Bifidobacterium breve, Bifidobacterium bifidum, Bifidobacterium longum, Bifidobacterium infantis, Lactobacillus reuteri, Lactobacillus gasseri, Lactobacillus rhamnosus, Lactobacillus casei, Lactobacillus plantarum, Lactobacillus paracasei, Lactobacillus salivarius, Lactobacillus bulgaricus, Bifidobacterium animalis, Lactobacillus helveticus, Lactobacillus sakei, Enterococcus faecium, and Lactococcus lactis. Blimey, that's quite a mouthful, right! They reckon this mix is designed to survive the journey through your stomach and get to where it needs to be in your gut. Whereas some brands require refrigeration, these are supposed to be alright to keep at room temperature, so that makes them handy for travelling to.Regarding the container they came in, two things come to mind. Firstly, it would be great if the container were more appropriately sized for the contents. Secondly, while I appreciate that the PET plastic pot is recyclable, I would ideally prefer a biodegradable alternative.Anyway, I've been taking them to keep my “second brain” happy AKA my tummy, hoping they'll help with my digestion, so fingers crossed they do the trick!⭐ Not recommended⭐⭐ Consider other options before this one⭐⭐⭐ A decent product that's worth considering⭐⭐⭐⭐ A great product, keep high on your list⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An outstanding product, and one of my top choices

I’ve been using SigmaBiotics probiotic complex for a few weeks now. The 10 billion CFU in each capsule provides a solid dose of beneficial bacteria. I have Noticed less bloating on some days which is very satisfactory. Overall a good supplement to support your digestive health daily.
