It's a nice drill. Seems we'll balanced in my hands. I was surprised by the torque it supplied. The feature that you can break a screw, bolt or nut by twisting the unit is cool. It gives you more control overall. No assembly required. Just insert a bit, extension or adapter and you are ready to go. Size is good for my average hands. Probably need adapters and universals to get into tight places. It's DEWALT, quality tools high prices. The adage "you get what you pay for" applies here. The only caveat, you can't replace the battery. Back in the day, I had a Black and Decker that ran for over 10 years on a non-removable battery. Light duty large unit. If I get 10 years out of this DEWALT, I will feel I got my money's worth. It takes a little time to get used to operating it. It works great. But, I had to use it a bit before I appreciated the different features. Highly recommend.

I keep this driver and the bits in my drawer inside for easy access. It’s super useful for lots of simple jobs, provided you don’t need too much torque (it won’t drive a long screw into a 2x4, for instance). Great for assembling furniture, hanging decor on the walls, switch plates and switches, hanging fixtures etc. holds a charge for a very long time and easy to recharge via usb. Using the driver is pretty unique, I like how simply pushing down on the switch area activates it and turning that dial sets the direction. Easy to do with quickly one hand.

Cordless Screwdriver is incredible definitely worth the purchase. Very light easy to carry and ease to use. Handles great, perfect size, fits well in my Dewalt toolbox with my other drills.

TL;DR For medium-to-light jobs, this is great. I can recommend purchasing. I tested several brands and this one came out on top for me. It made short work of changing out all the doorknobs in my home. But I wouldn't recommend for extended use, as the ergonomics aren't perfect, fatigue will set in fairly quickly. PROS + Quality and built tough. (What you expect from DeWALT) + Comes with several bits + Looks nice. + Charging port is the more modern USB-C type + Without a pistol grip, it takes up a smaller space in my toolbox CONS - A bit heavy and bulky for more than 1 hour of continuous use, causes fatigue. - I would not recommend this for small hands, there are pistol grip styles that are more suited. - No case for drill, cable and bits, but bits do have a nice rubber organizer at least - The interface to engage and disengage is not easily controlled, takes getting used to. It's inconvenient to hold on to the device and also push up on the collar. A thumb interface would have been better.

I’m coming at this review from the lens of a homeowner, not a contractor, using this product for various household needs. Do you need this product? No. You can absolutely get by using a traditional screw driver. However. If you have a bunch of kids toys that need to be put together, batteries to replace, outlets to remove or anything you would use a traditional screwdriver for… this bad boy will cut that time down. Plus it’s fun to use. It’s not too big. It’s very easy to use. And has worked very well each time I've brought it out. The only negative I can think of is that it doesn’t come with a case. I had to buy that separately.

Seemingly good product with a big flaw. Im an industrial mechanic who needs extra help here and there. Having said that who the heck designed this atrocious trigger mechanism. Half the time it slips in my hand and its really clunky. Should be a simple trigger forward and backward so you keep a good grip on it. More often than not who screw driver spins in my hand just because of how awkward the trigger is on this thing. While build quality seems good, the design is not.

Item works very well for what it is, it will drive a 3” screw into wood fairly easily but that’s not it was intended for. This replaces the gyro operated unit that I guess was discontinued. I guess the gyro feature was not reliable or didn’t function well so this is fairly simple to use with one hand. Compact to get in to tight places. Bit selection is good and USB C charging is great. The original box it came in may have been opened before indicating a return but all the parts were there and it was less expensive than buying at a “big box store.” I wish it had an adjustable speed control.

Great quality , works well, good bit selection, no pixie bit? Takes some getting use to and no pistol grip. Lots of torque, adjustable torque? bit change easy. Good fit in tool bag.

Nice tool, however a little on the large size. Torque setting is nice and the forward reverse bar works well. Type C fast charging is also good.
