Wow, it's so easy to replace standard size heel caps.
I used to spend $20, now with inflation, it is about $30 to replace each pair of heel caps. I have about 6 pairs of heels that needs to be replaced and right now that's not a priority in terms of my finances. So, I was really excited to receive these caps and see if I can actually do it and low and behold, I did it! The only thing that these replacement caps cannot do is if your heel cap is of an odd size. Most heel caps are of standard size, even the high-end heels that I own. I also own a few heels that are odd sizes and those need to be professionally replaced. You will need a hammer and a pair of pliers to pull the metal rod out of the out caps. Very easy to do, give it try and you'll save a lot of money...even enough for a brand-new pair of heels.

Easy to use DIY heel tip replacement
I am happy with this little heel tip replacement kit. The different sizes are perfect to replace the heel tips on different types of shoes. The tool works well to pull out the old screw and it’s easy to hammer the new heel into place. Great pricing for a kit when you usually pay that to replace both heel tips on one pair of shoes.

Great set of taps with tool
The replacement taps appear to be very well made and the included tool is a nice bonus. I haven't been able to use these yet, but I am pleased with the quality, just by looking at them. And this will save a trip to the shoe repair!

First time changing my own heel tips
I have a bunch of high heeled shoes in which the tips have seen better days. I used to think changing heel tips required fancy tools and special skills and have always taken them to the cobbler. However, once I saw this kit, I was very intrigued because the idea of changing my own tips is both convenient and cost-effective. The kit arrived well packaged as described and without damage. It includes heel tips in 2 colors (black and tan) of varying shapes and sizes, pliers and a pick/flat file tool. The heel tops included are mostly on the smaller size; I thought my tips were pretty thin and even then, I ended up choosing what I thought was the largest one (which still worked on well). The pliers and pick made it easy to take out the old heel tips and then I used the pliers to push/bang down the new heel tips in place (after I aligned them to my desire). Overall, the whole process was super quick (considering I'm not super handy) and I was quite happy with the result. This is a wonderful and convenient kit that will pay for itself many times over.
