These worked great and they smelled good too. I used them in my closet.

They just don't work on city rats. I placed one of the balls in a container with cut out sides so it was right at the top of the trash can and the smell from the ball was very strong due to the cutouts in the container. The rat ate right through the top of the can and could not have cared less about the ball. Same with under a dishwasher. Where the rat just dined on the wires from the dishwasher.

No mice in the garage now!

I have the balls where I seen mouse activity after 2 days I started setting a wood trap. I’ve caught 2 now mice that were right next to the ball. I guess they were playing catch with it. It doesn’t work. Waste of money for us.

We use peppermint oil every spring and autumn to control spiders, bugs, and other insects. This did not burn my eyes or irritate my sinuses like other products. But it seems equally effective. We will buy more.
