This item work perfect. It has a very good quality, easy to install

This was really easy to install. I simply unscrewed the old one and screwed in thw new one. Done in less than a minute. Dial is clear and easy to read. I'm not quite sure about accuracy. I have no way to actually check. The old one was broken and not working at all. It's reading where it's supposed to and when I backwashed it went to where it's ideal number/setting is. That's why I ranked it for accuracy. Overall I recommend this product.

I replaced my old one which read 0-60 with this one that reads 0-100 have no idea how accurate it is. Seems to be working fine.

My current one was all foggy from sun damage and I couldn't read it any longer. This fit perfectly. Easy install with some tape wrapped on it.

Easy to install, but you need to add some good old white teflon tape to the pipe threads, otherwise, it slips in just a bit too easy, and you end up screwing it all the way in and it still doesn't feel 'tight'. Further, if you don't feel any resistance , you can't really stop where you want the gauge to be so you can see it easily. Your only choice is to bottom it out in the threads and it ends up where ever it ends up. All that said, it looks great, the numbers and backing are clear, so far. Who knows how long before it clouds up and /or the needle stops moving up to indicate accurate pressure? Oh well. For the price its perfect to replace a bad old gauge that stopped working!

I replaced the original Hayward pressure gauge in a Hayward sand filter with the Aquatix, but cannot get it to seat well and therefore it leaks. Washers, thread tape, etc are no help. Also, the threading in the gauge and/or filter makes the gauge install face down so you have to stand on your head to read it while it leaks. Bummer. Too late to return, will just order a Hayward

So far so good...we only have had this on for about a week. Our other one only lasted a few months. So I used Teflon and coated the edge of the seal with silicone. This one was also a bit more pricey than my last one, so I hope it lasts. Our Hayward pool filter has a silly design that leaves the gauge horizontal so I think when it rains etc it caused water to sit inside. and kills the gauge quickly. So with our extra precautions I hope it lasts.

Worked for a season (2024) but is not not reporting accurate pressure. My original gauge for the pool filter lasted 15 years. This thing, one season. Very disappointed with the purchase.
