Works at the subdivision entrance lights
I help maintain the entrance to our subdivision (lights, sprinklers, timers, etc.) About 5 yrs ago, I replaced the light sensor / contactor with this part. Worked flawlessly for 5 yrs so pulled up my old order and got another one when the light-on operation got a bit sketchy. Couple nights we had NO entrance lighting. In fairness, we have had a LOT of power outages and the voltage spikes that go along with that (I lost a modem and a desktop during the crazy power fluctuations during Hurricane Helene). First one lasted 5 yrs under that abuse. I am sure this one will be as reliable!

Great dusk to dawn sensor replacement
Easy install, quarter turn twist lock. Direct fit to dusk to dawn lights. The sensor is a high quality photodiode, it looks like it will last. It looks like the sensor will continue to work even after the clear plastic sensor cover inevitably fogs due to UV. Foam seal comes attached to the sensor to keep the water out. Can't beat the price, considering the MFG wants $50 for this sensor. I wasn't going to replace my MFG sensor that was broken until I found this one.

Insufficient light sensitivity
Sensor has insufficient light sensitivity. Turns on 30 minutes too early and turns off 30 minutes too late.
