I’m pleasantly surprised by how effective it is. The kneading nodes are strong and really dig into tight muscles, especially in the lower back area. It feels very similar to a real shiatsu massage, not just vibration. The heat function warms up quickly and adds a lot of relief — I find it especially helpful after long hours sitting or driving. I like that it’s portable and easy to move between my office chair, couch, and even the car. The straps hold it in place well, and the remote is simple to use with clear buttons. The material feels decent and durable, not cheap. A couple of things to note: • The massage can feel intense at first, especially if you’re sensitive — using it through a thin blanket helps. • It’s best suited for targeted areas (lower back, upper back, neck) rather than full back coverage.

There are quite a few things that I like about this product and the biggest thing has to do with the massager nodes that can get out the knots (stress, tension, etc) in the lower part of your neck and upper back. What I really appreciate about it is that within the last few years there have been many things that have caused me stress and I feel it more often in my upper back and neck and sometimes have a hard time relaxing myself, but this is like a forced relaxation which really loosens up my muscles and helps me to feel a lot better and more relaxed after using it. It definitely helps. I feel like a lot of individuals can relate to these same feelings, and this product really helps me to feel more relaxed, less stressed and more comfortable. Plus the heated back zone feels awesome on the middle part of my back; I feel like any type of heat on your muscles just feels amazing and provides a source of relaxation. The only part that I personally do not really care for is how the heated back zone also has a vibration mode to it which could be similar to a massage because it vibrates, my husband says he likes it, but that’s not something I really care for in the product but the heated back zone feels awesome. My husband and I also used the massager on the lower part of our back because the device is quite mobile and adjustable so you can move it pretty much anywhere you would want to on your back. There are several modes of adjustment, which are really nice because you can strike a balance between the amount of pressure you want to use with the device. The power cord is really long too. Overall, it is a really convenient and useful device and you can easily use it while you are sitting or reclining and watching TV or being on a smart phone or tablet.

It just melts the stress away! The noise level is pretty quiet. It allows you to be on the phone or watch a movie while using it. Just a note to consider, this item is not cordless. Their customer service is top notch & the quality of their products is consistently above average. This particular Neck & Shoulder Massager surprised me as to how light weight it is! I seriously thought they forgot to put it in the box, but it was there along with the power cable & instruction booklet. It's super simple to operate using the remote. It offers a vibration feature with 3 pulsating power settings. There is also an option for heat in 3 temperature levels; Low, Medium & High. The shiatsu roller balls offer 8 modes (4 med & 4 small) which can be set for light pressure, medium pressure or max pressure. The remote offers the option to reverse the direction the roller balls are rotating. The overall design is quite clever. To position the shiatsu roller balls, simply move the entire unit to position it over the areas you wish to massage. The tapered design offers support to the lower back, while massaging the upper back. When it's positioned to massage the lower back, the narrower section offers support for the upper back area. Also, the lights on the remote go from red to yellow to green. Red is the strongest massage pressure, Yellow is a less aggressive pressure and green is the weakest amount of pressure. Yes, you can control pressure to a point by positioning your body and leaning into the massager, but I find this way to be simple & effective. The overall unit, while perfect for my 5'3", 120 lb frame; those with larger frames may find it to be on the small side. The width at the widest point is 13", tapering to 8" wide. From top to bottom, the unit measures 17" long. The sides taper from 4" deep at deepest point to 2" deep, creating a contoured effect, similar to the feeling of being cradled. There is a high quality detachable (Velcro) cover that can be used to cushion the pressure of the shiatsu roller balls. All material is easy to wipe clean with a damp sponge. The light weight of this massager makes it an excellent travel massager. It's also great for the elderly because it's so easy to manipulate. I truly appreciate that it will run for half an hour before shutting itself off. Plenty of time for an effective, relaxing massage! A+++
