Works like a charm. Provided me security with the super easy installation. I had it tested with my family members. They kicked and pushed my door but it never budged. Although it depends on the door mine looks like this (wooden)

I've only used it one time at a hotel. It installed quickly and without any issues. When I was ready to leave the room, I unlocked the dead bolt and tried to open the door and the Guard Dog Blocklock held the door firmly shut with no movement of the door while I held the door handle in the open position and pulling on the door handle trying to move the door. It held firm! I will use this product each time I travel away from home and stay in a hotel room.

This is perfect for a woman alone at a hotel who is afraid of somebody breaking in. However the hotel that I stayed at had one built in so I never opened it and sent it back. It does look very sturdy though. Sure it's pretty easy to use and install.

These work really well. I have bought other ones like these that fit into the holes and don’t work with my door. These do!! They are very easy to put on and easy to take off. Extra security.

Perfect! Works as advertised.

Well-made item. Very sturdy. Easy to adjust. The only drawback is if the space between the door and the door jam is really tight, it may be hard to insert the bulldog and close the door. Another thing to note, this locking device relies on the rigidity of the door, jam, and specifically in the area that is the thinness part of the door jam. So if someone really wanted to get in, I think you could kick the door and break away the door jam in that area where this lock sits.

So simple. So effective. And these? Glow in the dark!! Nice. This device works well even if the striker plate is missing or damaged. (Only if the casing is metal). I have other types that will not sit properly if the plate is damaged or broken. This one does.

This portable lock is very easy to use and handy. It fits most of indoor doors unless you have special customized one. I have not tested the force yet but I am sure if the bad guys really want to get in, they can just slam harder until this one gets crashed because its handle is made by plastic.
