Quite effective
Occasionally I suffer from an itchy scalp so was keen to try this when I saw it.I'm pleased to say it works quite well, releaving the itchiness soon after it's been applied.Lasts about a day.I'm slightly less keen on the product as a shampoo only as it seems to leave my hair somewhat dry.But these things work differently on different hair and skin types, so I'd say it's worth a try.

dermatitis control shampoo
This is a review of 'Puradoro Dermatitis Control & Healthy Roots Shampoo – Soothes Seborrheic Dermatitis, Reduces Sebum, Infused with Tea Tree, Jojoba & Chamomile, Natural Scalp Relief For Men & Women'.This is a shampoo designed to address seborrheic dermatitis. The shampoo comes in a nicely designed packaging. I couldn't figure out how to use the bottle at first and thought it was broken but it has a quite unique mechanism - you have to push down on one half of the cap for the other to pop up and dispense the product. The shampoo has a very nice scent which seems to be a combination of essential oils including tea tree and other fresh smelling extracts. I found it very relaxing to use because of the scent as it is very reminiscent of a spa scent. The shampoo itself is milky white and quite thick. I found it easy to use although I had to use slightly more to cover my scalp due to the thickness of the product. I found it left my scalp very happy - clean, soothed and the hair shiny. It leaves a slight tingle because of the tea tree which I found to be pleasant. I found this was particularly good at removing oil from my hair and I was able to go an extra day in between washes. It also reduced the itchiness of my scalp.Overall I like the product and will keep using it. I would mention you need to check the ingredients for anything you might be allergic to or react to as it contains a large amount of plant extracts which can be common irritants, however it didn't irritate my scalp at all, quite the opposite.

SHAMPOO VIEW
200ml/6.8 fl.oz. of dermatitis control shampoo by Puradoro, an Italian made product. It has a herbal, minty aroma and produces a fine lather in use. There are a lot of natural ingredients listed. The shampoo is housed in a tall plastic tubular bottle, which has a translucent screw top cap. However, the intended method to dispense the quite viscous yellow tinged shampoo, is through the concealed narrow slot, set into the side, at the top part of the cap.The cap's top looks similar in design to that of a dual flush W.C. and by pressing down on the smaller button, levers the larger section upwards, exposing the side dispensing slot. The first time this is tried is very hard to do, in order to avoid spillage during delivery, yet once this is overcome, remains easy to do.Due to the viscosity of this shampoo and having to tip the bottle in an upside down position, angled towards the dispensing slot every time, I found it quicker and easier, to just take the cap off and pour the required amount out.In use it produced a fine lather but for me left my then wet hair squeaky clean, tangled and when dried going frizzy.Alas, my medically diagnosed dermatitis returned the following day too. This shampoo should benefit many others but for me, I found it too drying and the formulation did not work for me.Hence my middling score.

Helps my scalp
I suffer quite badly at times with my scalp and am always looking for a decent shampoo. If you follow what the bottle says and wash it twice, the first time quickly and the second time to leave it on, it works well. It does seem to strip your hair though so I do have to follow it with a good amount of a decent conditioner! But I I think this is pretty good but it’s not the best, especially for the price. It smells nice though.

Works wonderfully
With seasonal temperature changes, I often get an irritated scalp and some flaking around my parting and hairline. This shampoo has reduced the flaking by 80% for me. For my partner, who has year-round dermatitis and flaking, this has completely cleared his scalp and is finding it less itchy.I am really impressed, I honestly didn't expect it to work so well. The shampoo's scent is pleasant. It definitely has a tea tree smell, but it's not overpowering.Suitable for sensitive skin like myself. I've noticed my hair producing less oil between washes. It doesn't foam up lots like the H&S brand I typically use, but a little does go a long way.The bottle is a little odd, the lid has to be pushed down and you squeeze to get the shampoo out.The product is quite expensive for such a small bottle, but if you're only using it once a week alongside your regular products this is a no brainer. Will definitely be repurchasing in the future as this has worked so well for both me and my partner.

Left Hair Greasy & Limp, Not Too Pleasant To Use & Very Expensive
I only came across the Puradoro brand recently when trying their colour care shampoo, which I sadly found very disappointing. Unfortunately I didn’t get on any better with the dermatitis control version. I wanted this mostly for my mum who can get some itchy, dry scalp issues. We’ve both used this and seem to have found the same thing. It’s not overly pleasant to use; it’s not awful but it has an odd scent I don’t really like and it doesn’t feel luxurious at all, so I can’t say the cost is high because it’s a more appealing product as it’s not. After thoroughly washing this out, it left both of us with hair feeling a little greasy and looking very limp. It was shaken before use as recommended and it was definitely all washed out as I spent twice as long to be on the safe side, but it’s still the same result. My mum tried it twice but it didn’t get any better for her so neither of us will use it again, and sadly she didn’t notice any difference to the itch side of things either. Maybe it’ll be different for the next person but even if it doesn’t leave your hair looking and feeling worse than before you washed it, I couldn’t justify the cost.
