VOLANTEXRC 4CH RC Plane 2.4GHz Jet F-16 Fighting Falcon RC Airplane Fighter Ready to Fly with Xpilot Stabilizer System, One Key Aerobatic Perfect for Adults

I really didn't know what to expect when I ordered this plane. I've been discovering that these RTF propeller push jets are really fun!This plane is extremely fast and maneuverable. It turns on a dime and you have to be really careful with the left stick or you can put it into some extreme flight conditions (which I like). I started out in "beginner" mode and once comfortable I moved to "intermediate." That is where I like to stay. "Expert" mode is difficult because you have to control flight direction and throttle as well as keep the airplane balanced and level. I prefer "intermediate" mode and I can fly it really well there. Maybe someday I'll be able to fly in "expert" mode all the time, but not right now.This jet is also quite rugged. I like that it has a rubber nose cone that absorbs most of the impact on front-end crashes. It is not hard to mess up and go into a nose dive. I've done it several times! No major damage at all. I've had to repair the corner of one wing and reattach the rear landing gear clip. I've also broken a few propellers, but the ones for this jet are pretty cheap, so that's not a problem. Other than that it still flies like the first day I got it!Overall I would not recommend this to beginners as their first RC plane. I would, however, highly recommend it to those who have a bit of stick time and want to fly a really cool micro in the park. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one.

My initial review is below. I will say, this company has awesome customer service. They went above and beyond to help me out when the product malfunctioned and didn’t hold up.I would HIGHLY recommend some of their World War planes, totally incredible planes. Nothing even close in terms of quality and performance at that price. Fast, agile, auto tricks are awesome, 3 skill level setting etc. All around great series of planes!Volantex Customer Service is great!For context, I own 4 Volantex planes. 3 of them are their World War planes, and they are awesome. The only issue they have is durability of the landing gear, and it’s very difficult to get replacement landing gear that’s the right size.This particular plane, the F16 is not as well assembled as the World War planes. It's battery compartment fell out upon landing on only my 2nd day out flying the plane. I put it back together, and then on the next landing, the landing gear broke off the plane. I’m quite experienced in the RC hobby, and have specifically flown RC planes for a bit over a year now and usually have great experiences. I would not recommend this plane, falls apart way too easily which makes it frustrating for a hobbyist and would be depressing for a beginner. Look at some of their World War planes, I would r suggest this one or the other F22 jet.

The media could not be loaded. Aside from propellers breaking easily, this is surprisingly a pretty good and durable RC Plane. It is quite fast and very responsive with a large range. Tested in the back yard and you will have a hard time keeping it with in a 1acre are. In under 30 seconds it will cover about a 6 acre loop. Seriously surprised at how simple this thing looks but, it is sophisticated well beyond the price. Have yet to max out the range before turning around so it can stay in decent view. Very quick, very aggresive, very durable (except propellar). Well worth the price in my opinion.

I was pretty skeptical of this plane because of some quality control issues others have expressed, but I went ahead and took the chance and I’m happy I did! It arrived it beautiful and working condition and as a long time RC enthusiast I was pleasantly surprised with how well this plane performed, it’s stable, fast, and very agile, a whole lot of fun on expert mode but maybe not a good choice for beginners. My only complaints so far so is the absence of a rudder despite being advertised as 4ch, and a fairly cheap transmitter. It will get the job done but if your use to higher end transmitters this is as cheap as it gets. I don’t find the battery compartment to be nearly as an issue as others have and overall I’m very happy and having a lot of fun! Also it’s better to just keep the landing gear in the box and try to land on grass opposed to concrete!

Awful product. It’s very hard to fly and the instructions didn’t tell you how to fly it, I had to figure it out. The wheels came defective and it couldn’t be in the ground without falling over. Also very unsafe. I was throwing it to fly because the wheels don’t work, and it cut my hand with a pretty good amount of blood. And no wonder they include 3 propellers. They broke within an hour. Even in the grass they would snap. Awful design. The controller was also very light and flimsy and was not good quality. For a 100$+ product this should be way better. Do not buy, find a better product.
