I purchased this product for a Christmas present for my son, but my partner wanted it more. We didn't actually open it and set it up until a month after the holiday. The Aurora lights are AMAZING, with stars and accompanying sounds. We did have a small issue with a few of the light settings, that had a notable glitch and would flash at high speed. We contacted Govee and they responded immediately with instructions on how to reset to the factory defaults. Unfortunately, that did not fix our problem, so we reached back out to the company, who again, responded almost instantly with some of the best customer service I have ever experienced. They immediately sent us a replacement, which is working perfectly! My partner LOVES this projector and falls asleep to it every night. The colors are beautiful, the movement of the lights is really soothing and it has been a really lovely addition to our bedtime routine. I highly recommend this product, not just for the wonderfulness of the product, but also for the absolutely stellar and fantastic customer service! You will not regret this purchase ~ it is all that is says and more...including a wonderful company backing up their fabulous products!

I got this for my son for his birthday and I have to say this is a very lovely star projector! You can add different colors for different effects, there are so many options for this thing and I feel like the more you customize the lights the more beautiful it becomes. We use it as a night light for my son, and he absolutely loves it just as much as we do. It’s easy to use the app to change the settings, the lights are bright and very colorful and bold. You can customize the dimness or brightness. It seems like a pretty sturdy machine, it has a nice base so it doesn’t fall over easily as well. We got it on sale so we didn’t pay full price, but I absolutely would pay full price for this it’s worth every penny spent. Try it if you’re reading this! You can’t go wrong!

I don’t even have sufficient words to describe how much I love this projector. The light quality of the waves is amazing and sooooo pretty. The stars are great as well! You can customize the brightness of the waves and the stars independently of one another, and you can customize the color of the waves (but not the stars, because they are made by a green laser). You can make the stars twinkle and/or move around as well. The coverage area is very generous too. Just a beautiful product all around. I love to just look up and stare at my ceiling now at night. It’s so tranquil.

This was the brightest, most impressive, and customizable projector of the ones I've tried, but at a higher price and a significantly bigger footprint. For $80 it really should include a USB power brick. I don't have any use for the laser stars and white noise features. Even when I turned off the laser stars I found the motor noise distracting but YMMV. A brief summary of the projectors I've tried: Govee Star Light Projector (this item) - Adjustable tilt mount, vivid colors, memorizing wave/water ripple-like pattern, good iOS app, relatively loud motors. Bottom line: Pricey, bulky & relatively loud; I didn't keep this one BlissLights Velarus - Adjustable tilt mount, vivid colors, memorizing wave/water ripple-like pattern, great iOS app, relatively quiet motor. Bottom line: My favorite projector with the only weakness being the audible motor BlissLights Sky Lite Evolve - Adjustable tilt mount, colors not as vivid as the Velarus, pleasing nebula/cloud-like pattern, great iOS app, relatively quiet motor. Bottom line: Excellent option if you want laser stars ENBRIGHTEN Aurora Crystal-Ball Galaxy Projector - Fixed-angle mount, vivid colors, memorizing wave/water ripple-like pattern, no app control, super quiet motor. Bottom line: Almost silent and very reasonably priced; would be perfect if the projection angle could be adjusted

Honestly works fantastic, colors are bright and easy to see, the animations are smooth and flow like water. It is incredibly relaxing. I didn't care about the sound feature at all, the sound quality is about what you'd expect from a small cheap speaker embedded in the plastic shell. Does it work? Yes. Is the sound clear? Mmm yeah, but it still sounds like a cheap crappy speaker. Simple solution, get your sound out of a real speaker, this isn't a sound device. Apparently people got bad models or have very sensitive hearing in regard to the motors, Govee even sent me a email right after it was delivered explaining how they measured the sound etc. I cannot hear it, the thing is dead silent. Maybe I got a revised version, but I can't hear anything from it even if I try. Govee app has all the features and options you would expect from their products and you can do all sorts of customizing and scene creation in the app. Overall, if you are looking for the light function, espically if you already have Govee products, this is a great product.

Purchased 3 of these. It's easy to use and the quality/brightness is great. There's a buy-in to use the app to control the light settings which is a bit of a bummer but it applies to all sorts of lighting fixtures, not just this one in particular. The first one I bought has been running fine, but the second one now has a strange issue where every few seconds the light intermittently goes out for a very brief half second. The third one had Wi-Fi issues right out of the box and I had to return it. Even with my phone right next to it, it could not connect, so unless you want the default light effect, you're SOL if you get one with a faulty Wi-Fi chip. In hindsight I would have much preferred to spend $20 extra for a higher quality model. One big plus is that its virtually quiet as a shadow.

This is my favourite smart light in my home right now. We have a vast Govee collection and this light is spectacular. It does have a motor noise, but you can adjust the light settings to reduce it. The light stays on for 4 hours and you can set timers with it in the Govee app which works flawlessly. It's such a pretty light with so many star dots that even the cats love looking at it. Highly recommend.

This light projector is really nice, although I would've wanted the stars to be blue instead of green, but it’s a really nice product overall and definitely the best in the market right now. Too overpriced though

This product is really, really, really good at its job of projecting multicoloured, stunning, and vivid auroras. The stars it projects I don’t use as they are green but they do seem to move around nicely if that’s your thing. As for the noise (or lack thereof). They sent me an email saying that people complained of it but that is only really noticeable when the stars are on. I don’t use the stars so don’t experience the noise. There is plenty of customisation including make your own own auroras. Let me emphasis how beautiful the projection of the Aurora is. Smooth, flowing, vivid, varied. You could just stare at it for hours. As I have. You’ll most likely need a place like a bookshelf to place it as the Aurora projects best next to the ceiling. There’s not much more to say really. Serves its purpose perfectly. Worth the splurge.

Le seul commentaire négatif, j'aurais préféré une diffusion plus large de la lumière dans la pièce. À part cela, c'est le "top" des projecteurs d'aurores boréales. Avec l'application Govee qui offre plusieurs belles options de projections déjà crées, vous avez en plus la possibilité de composer des projections de lumières sur mesure avec votre choix personnel de couleurs, de mouvements et de vitesse de projections ; avec ou sans étoile. Il y a même des créations en ligne des autres propriétaires de lampes Govee. Comme toujours, Govee a une longueur d'avance dans le domaine des lumières récréatives! Je savais que je faisais un bon choix avec Govee en payant plus cher que la multitude d'autres lampes à aurores boréales qui sont "cheap" pour en avoir achetées afin de comparer....!
