$40 might seem like a lot for a bottle of shampoo, but the Lasio Clarifying Shampoo comes in a very large pump bottle, that is going to last me for a long time, especially if I only use it a few times a week. The smell is hard to nail down, other than to say “spa like”. It’s woodsy, and floral, and just clean smelling. It smells great while washing my hair, but doesn’t linger afterwards. I have always been a head sweater (gross, I know!) needing to wear cloth headbands when I exercise or even walk around outside on a warm day. The Lasio Clarifying Shampoo really makes my scalp feel clean after I use it, and still has my hair feeling soft. Other shampoos I’ve used may have cleaned my scalp, but then it left my hair feeling dry. It does come out quickly and is on the thinner side when you pump it into your hand, so just do so slowly so none of the shampoo just gets washed down the drain. I thought it lathered enough, but some may not think so. I don’t associate tons of bubbles with something being clean, but how it actually makes my hair (or skin) feel afterwards. This is definitely a product I would order again.

I have been using this Lasio Clarifying Shampoo weekly to deep clean my scalp and to rid my hair of product buildup. The consistency of this shampoo is very thin and watery. I am used to richer and thicker products, so I was pleasantly surprised how well this shampoo cleansed my hair. This shampoo did not strip nor dry out my hair. Rather, my hair just smelled clean, felt soft and looked shiny. Since this is such a large bottle and I only use once a week, this will last a very long time. Great find!

While I did not plan on getting keratin treatments I have been meaning to try clarifying shampoos. I always love after going to the salon that my hair will look good for DAYS without getting gross and I feel like a good clarifying shampoo will do that! First, this is a really thin shampoo with minimal lather especially the first pass around. There was a light scent that I couldn't pin down but just smelled generally like a salon and it smelled nice but sadly did not last too long. My hair health overall is fine but I do get a lot of breakage so I was nervous because I know some clarifying shampoos can be overly stripping. It's almost a good thing that it didn't lather a ton because I know sometimes lather can be drying. When I went to do my second shampoo it lathered a lot more which is typical, but still less than a normal shampoo. I was very pleased that it did not strip my hair of its hydration! I followed with my regular conditioner and my hair felt really nice! It was very soft. I did have a lot more flyaways which I tamed with a serum but I also had more volume - I feel like this seems to be a trade off especially if I air dry. If I am getting volume in my long hairs I'm also getting them in my baby hairs and I have to address it with product but my hair looks good at least and I doubled the number of days i could go between shampoos! It's expensive but it's a huge bottle so good value for the money.

This is a huge bottle of clarifying shampoo, originally meant for use before a keratin treatment. I don’t get keratin treatments, but I learned that keratin can actually benefit most hair types (unless the hair is overprocessed). I have fine hair, and using this once or twice a week has made it feel fuller. The shampoo smells amazing. It is on the thinner side, which can be a bit tricky when pumping it out since it tends to run right out of your hand. It lathers well, though the texture feels a little different compared to typical shampoos. I also appreciate that it’s formaldehyde-free, which is an important detail in a keratin shampoo. Overall, this is a fantastic value given the large bottle. Using it twice a week, I can see it lasting close to a year. Pros: Huge bottle, smells amazing, makes hair feel fuller, formaldehyde-free, great value Cons: Thin texture makes it easy to spill when dispensing.

This is a HUGE bottle. But I guess it makes sense with the amount of product you have to use. First time I had to use A LOT to get it to lather up. Once I rinsed I decided to do another round of shampoo and this time it lathered right up with just one pump. It did seem to clean my hair nicely. I used a different conditioner and my hair was really soft and felt very clean and soft. I didn't notice a heavy scent which is good for me b/c a lot of shampoos make my eyes itch. Given its size I think it is a good value for the money too. If you need a good clarifying shampoo give it a try.

My photo shows my hairbrush beside the bottle for scale: this bottle is huge, the size that might be used in a salon. As others have noted, it’s thinner than most shampoos and didn’t seem to lather as quickly for me. I actually lathered up twice just to get better lather the second time. It didn’t feel particularly moisturizing while using, and I was concerned that my very long hair would feel dry and tangly, so followed up with Olaplex 6 and 7. I needn’t have worried: my hair feels beautifully clean, shiny, and silky, and it seems like the clean feeling is lasting longer than usual. I quite like the light scent, which is a floral-herbal-woodsy blend. I plan to use this shampoo a couple of times a month, with something like Olaplex 4 and 5 in between. Forty bucks may seem like a lot for shampoo, but for the quality and quantity, this Lasio shampoo is really a steal. If you need a good clarifying shampoo, look no further!
