This PLZ Radio was installed in my C6 Corvette to replace an mid-price Sony that was lacking Carplay. PLZ out performed in every way possible. Great sound, crystal clear screen, fit the double din space so perfectly the trim supplied trim options weren't needed. It boots up within seconds and connects to carplay within 10s. They offer custom logo and wallpapers through the service via Messenger. I had an android radio years ago and it was okay with way too many ways to mess it up. PLZ has basically built a user interface that is easy to use, hard to mess up, and operates flawlessly because "I" can't change the processing in any way. Also customer service for the wallpaper request is fast and great as well.

Don’t want to buy an expensive brand, head unit, buy this! I really like this radio in my car for the price. The sound was better than factory with the factory speakers! I really bought it for Car Play. Connects quickly. Love the custom start up screen! Just sent a pic and they sent me the file to load via thumb drive. Display is clear and crisp. My car is too loud for Bluetooth calls, but works great otherwise. Still have to connect the reverse camera, but won’t use the cheap one they sent with the unit!

This wasn’t an issue with the stereo itself—just a compatibility quirk with my particular dash kit. I also added a **USB 3.0 port** by replacing an old, unused **cigarette lighter socket**, which allowed me to neatly connect the rear USB cable from the PLZ head unit. #### 🎵 **Sound Quality – A Huge Upgrade!** My Expedition has a **premium factory sound system with a 160W amp**, and I used the correct wiring harness to retain my amp and **RAP (Retained Accessory Power) system**. So far the MP-928W unit has been great, especially for the price. Screen is amazing, sound clarity is better than expected (bass doesn’t have as much punch as previous Pioneer unit), super easy install. Contacted company through email for a boot logo (Toyota) and firmware update and received in a couple hours. Using ApplePlay and it connects fairly quick in a couple seconds. Screen is easy to see in the daytime and dims when lights are on, very crisp. Haven’t hooked up backup camera yet, but tomorrow I will. Only negative so far is the button placement of volume at bottom, they are more difficult to hit, but could be a simple adjustment to the brackets holding in unit. For the price it’s tough for even the big names to compete. Only time will tell.

The bad so far: -the remote only works when super close to screen. - the screen was not working for like 2 minutes ( i think it doesn’t like the florida heat ). Its happened twice on a week. - sometimes when you leave carplay to home screen the music stops. - screen does not have auto dim. - it’s laggy when changing a song and the system is also laggy when it is warm. - it gets quiet on calls almost like the volume turns down automatically. The good : - the camera is decent quality. - the design looks nice and sleek. - it has a decent amount of configurations. - the screen picture quality on carplay it’s pretty high - it was easy to pair with phone - the charging port it’s convenient - the mic works great
