Q: Can anyone tell me what the dimensions are when this is folded to its minimum. I have to store it when not in use and space is crucial, thanks.

Lower and lock blade. Turn to 45deg. Remove dust adaptor and sack. Slide forward all the way and lock. Will then fit to 72cm wide, 56 cm deep and 42cm high.

Q: Is this worth the extra £50 over the Rage3+?

Yes. I have been most impressed with it's stability and quality of build. So smooth in operation and accurately set up initially. Well worth the extra.

Q: I am new to mitre saws so don't have a stand or bench, can I use this on the floor?I may make a bench to use it on as a 1st project, would that work?

If you've got a Black and Decker workmate they will clamp to the top of that perfectly! i used mine on this for years before they came out with these stands, use the standard B & D orange pegs/clamps with a long piece of wood approx 2" (50mm) wide X 3/4" (18mm) thick in front of each pair then tighten with saw in the middle. That wont move till you can afford any make of stand as they all fit, look in screwfix they've got one with wheels at one end!
