Sharpsafe Disposable Sharps Bin 0.2 Litre - Pack of 4 (Packaging May Vary)

When my wife was diagnosed as diabetic requiring insulin the problem of disposal whilst on holiday or travelling light arose. These items solved the problem, and with accompanying medical certificates has enabled ease of travelling through airport security.

These are fantastic, just the right size for popping in a bag and going anywhere, my Husband's job means he is out and about for most meals, meaning this is perfect for storing sharps on the go. Bought a two pack to start with, but because of how handy they are have bought a four pack. They are easy enough to open when you need one and the inside of the lid does stop anything coming out and stop access to fingers going in by accident. Highly recommended.

very good for on the go!! smaller than i thought they were but thats because i didnt read it properly lol. very sturdy and secure when theyre shut. a little bit difficult to push them in but better that than they easily fall out!

Since I use a 4 litre sharps box at home I wanted something to take up less space in my suitcase. The small size makes this sharps box easy to carry although large enough that it might meet my needs (but I cannot guess yours) for a fortnight's holiday. The drawback of the small size is that I found it awkward to push insulin pen needles through the entrance and lancets occasionally got caught up. Despite the drawbacks, I find that these sharps boxes meet my needs very well.

Really useful little sharps bins. Yet to use, but estimate will take the best part if not all of a week's needles and test strips for 4 insulin injections per day (28 capped needles takes up about 0.2l with spaces in between). Each is about the size of a NovoRapid pen case (a little wider but a little shorter) so will fit in hand luggage as well as not take up a great deal of room in a suitcase, or glovebox for that matter.

Easily large enough for a longish holiday & slim enough to stuff down the side of a suitcase. The temporary closure is good enough to travel with so debris could be emptied into a larger waste container on return home.
