Looks just like picture. My photo is of my leg after wearing the compression socks for 4 hours. I wear a size 9 US shoe, am 5'6" and 140lbs and the medium fits well with a constant support. I have average sized calves but my feet are on the wider side. I say all that because I feel like the mediums would be too small if my leg was bigger and maybe too big if I was smaller, so they fit really snug and just right for me. It's not too much constriction but it does leave a mark. I can feel that I'm wearing them but it's not so tight and not uncomfortable. I feel like they are helping my veins. I wish I found them earlier in life. I've had them a few months and they stand up to the washer/dryer with no evidence of weakening. I will buy a couple different colors now that I know how well they work.

I am an RN and I am on my feet 13-16hrs a day. These cotton knee-hi's with graduated compression help sustain my energy and sprightly steps through my long shift. How did I hear of this brand? I went to a dermatologist for some discoloration on my ankles, and was diagnosed with a condition caused by ruptured capillaries, thereby spilling blood showing dark stains on my skin, due to venous stasis from years of prolonged standing. To prevent the cause, he advised me to wear compression hose. I've tried other brands before, mainly nylon, and they were too tight (felt like strangling my legs), too warm, and hard to pull up esp. when I'm rushing, so I gave up on them a long time ago. Then he showed me his socks which were these same socks I'm evaluating, and he said that ever since he started wearing them, he doesn't feel tired on his feet anymore. He recommended these specifications: SIGVARIS brand, COTTON, KNEE-HI'S, with 15-20mmHg compression. Well, I work longer shifts than he does and still, my feet/legs don't feel tired and no more swollen feet at the end of my long shifts when I have these on. They feel just right. They are cotton so they are breathable and not hot, they are not hard to pull up, and because they keep my blood circulation going, they keep my energy going. You know the feeling of blood stagnated in your lower legs and feet when you've been up too long? Ditto. These stockings/socks are the comfortable solution. By the way, my dermatologist was introduced to these Sigvaris socks by his brother-in-law who is also a doctor and on his feet for long hours. And they're only $20+ versus the other kinds that cost $50+. I don't need fancy kinds; my priority is that they serve the purpose of graduated compression without the strangling feeling of most compression hoses. These Sigvaris 15-20mmHg compression stockings save my day, my legs, and my money, too. They feel so good I actually go around the house with them and sometimes sleep with them on. I'm going to buy more pairs in the other colors because I can't do without them.

I was so happy when my surgeon told me I could stop wearing the thigh-high compression stockings. I told him I absolutely hated the stockings and that I found the material so uncomfortable on the soles of my feet that I was wearing little socks under them. He then showed me his knee-high socks and told me they were cotton. I rushed home and began searching for them, I was delighted to find a seller on Amazon and the prices were very reasonable. They came very quickly and I am wearing a pair today. They are so soft and comfortable. I can feel the compression, which is good without the discomfort of the nylon. I ordered 2 pairs of black, brown and navy and would have liked to get the white and tan but they weren't available in my size and compression. I'll keep checking to see if they become available as I know I'd rather wear them under lighter colored slacks.

I ordered these socks through Amazon and they were sent to me by FootSmart. They sent me the wrong size and I asked for an even trade. Instead they supposedly sent a refund to me through Amazon and I do not see that transaction occurred. I was never contacted about their sending back a refund as I wanted the socks or I would not have ordered them in the first place. Can someone please get in touch with me to resolve this matter. I was told that $26.36 was refunded on Nov. 30, 2012 and I do not see this refund in my account. Please advise on how to handle this matter. Thank you

I have more than 20 compression socks. 1/2 of them are Sigvaris’. They are the best. They wash well and are easier to put on and wear all day. The compression is consistent. I must wear them daily from morning until bedtime. They really help support my varicose veins. My Vascular doctor prescribed this brand for me. Yes there are cheaper brands out there, but their quality is cheap and inconsistent.

These socks are incredible. They are made of cotton and they come in different pressures. My feet are less swollen since I started wearing them. I can stand on my feet for longer times every day.
