This product is incredible!! I started using retinol 17 years ago to help treat cystic acne. I cannot tell you how awful the drying, peeling, redness and shedding was -- for years! Eventually I scaled back usage to a couple of times a week but still experienced the dryness associated with retinol use. Now, I've fully switched from aggressive retinol to this Kate Somerville retinal serum (retinol 2.0) -- the formula has a thin, lotion-like texture, perfect for under moisturizer and SPF. It absorbs quickly and does not pill under makeup. There's no scent -- TG! I use it 2x a day everyday. The results are noticeable and they were fast!! My skin is soft, there's zero dryness and my fine lines are MUCH softer. I had some discoloration from the summer sun but this has faded them to where the spots are almost undetectable. I love the glass bottle. It's luxe and looks pretty on my bathroom vanity. Can't say enough about this one. 100% 10/10

This product is amazing!! I took Accutane about 10 years ago and ever since have had incredibly sensitive skin, so I've always been scared to venture into the world of retinoids. But after reading multiple reviews and watching some videos I decided to give this a try with all of the claims on how hydrating and gentle it is. And let me tell you, it DELIVERED on those promises. The serum is so light but hydrating at the same time. I've put it on a couple of nights over the last week (really need to test and ease into new products with my sensitive skin) and each time I've woken up in the morning with no sensitivity or redness. Quite the opposite honestly, my skin looks healthier, smoother, and softer than its ever been. If you are looking to give retinal a try, THIS is the product to get.

I've used it for 4 days and I have to admit that it doesn't do it for me. The texture is off. I expected it to glide on my face... it didn't. It gave my face a yellowish look... like jaundice. It's been banished to my "Makeup Misfits" drawer. Even the scent was off-putting. I realize 4 days doesn't prove anything, but I should at least enjoy the feel while I wait for results.

Nice serum. Feels good on skin. I wouldn’t call it “transforming” really. Don’t notice any changes in my skin. Like so many of these products, you would have to use consistently over long period of time to determine any real changes.

I just started using this product and I’m really impressed. It’s lightweight, absorbs quickly, and doesn’t leave any residue. The serum itself has a vibrant yellow color and feels gentle on my skin—no irritation at all. I’ve noticed my skin feels softer and more hydrated after using it. It has no fragrance that I can detect, which is a bonus. The packaging is also gorgeous, giving it a luxe feel. Love it.
