We've got a couple of guys that have learned everything on their own and are the neighborhood mechanics, which is a good and bad thing, but thankful they can do the job.

As expected

I was actually able to notice a difference in this fluid vs DOT 3. This fluid resists heat better. It stays more springy where DOT 3 feels like it collapses more under heat and load. I like the prolonged service life as well. So far it feels like it will be able to maintain its life through the stated mileage. If you're wondering if it is worth the added cost I would say absolutely. I had new bottles of DOT 3 and don't regret buying and using this DOT 4 fluid instead.
