muck boot edgewater
Swift delivery as always with amazon. I have used Muck Boots for many years as mud is plentyful where I live.Neoprene lining is a must as my feet are happy in them.Really warm on cold winters' days and totally waterproof in the rainy season. I'd chosen model "Tay" in the past but this time I opted for the Edgewater. The "Tay" lasted 3-ish years of heavy use and it'll be interesting to see how well this model will stand the the wear and tear. First impression, very comfy and lighter than the Tay,also a little cheaper which always helps. Will update this review in 12 months' time. Ok,here's the update a year on.These boots only lasted less than a year and are now dangerous to wear in muddy conditions, have gone A over T too many times recently so in the bin they'll go! No tread left , no grip whatsoever. Also, the tread runs horizontally only ie from 3 to 9 o'clock etc etc something I hadn't observed when I made the purchase. Regret buying them as no longer fit for purpose ie daily dog walks in all terrain. Positives: toasty warm, waterproof and still in good condition other than the soles. A year on I'll give 2/5 only. Am now on the lookout for a another pair :)

easy to take off by myself
I've only used them twice so far, but I walk miles over rough, wet moors training search and rescue dogs and can be lying out there for hours in all weathers being a "dead body" My feet were dry and warm all evening, although the temperature wasn't that low this week. They were very comfy to walk in, easy to take off by myself, fitted over my thick trousers. They are a bit large but that leaves room for thicker socks when the weather gets colder. I'm vey happy with my purchase so far.

A superior wellington boot.
Superior wellingtons which are lighter and more flexible, though less robust, than the classic Muckmaster. I would have preferred a slightly higher boot personally but this is not a criticsm. I take a size 9 in shoes but ordered a 10 for extra sock room and these are a good fit. It remains to be seen how the boot performs in the longer term as with the Muckmaster the lining wears quickly at the heel position and exposes a rather rough seam - which scrapes the heal area unless multiple socks are worn.

Very comfortable and worth the money
I ordered a size larger than normal as advised by a friend and they are perfect as long as I wear thick socks. One boot rubbed my angle bone on the first 2 wears but after then they were fine and very comfortable. They are great as the leg material is stretchy so fits snug onto the leg. I have wide calf muscles so struggle to find wellies that fit properly. Much more expensive than I would normally pay for a pair of wellies but now that we own a dog, they will get a lot of use and I hope they should last a long time so well worth the money.

Warm, comfortable and very durable
These wellingtons are warm and very durable. I walk in all sorts of weather and terrain and they are marvellous. I wouldn't buy any other make.

Comfy and warm
Very comfortable and warm. Good fit. I’ve only had them a week so I don’t know how they’ll stand up to long walks with the dog, but happy do far.

I typically buy knockoff boots but after having several pairs that only last a season I decided to go with the mucks. These boots are well made and have kept my feet dry on several deer scouting trips in the swamp. At first I thought that they were a little tight in the achilles and calf but after wearing them I realized that stops them from slipping and helps them to be comfortable on those long hikes. They don't have much insulation but if necessary I will wear good wool socks with them to keep my feet warm.
