Good product but already opened
Arrived in opened packaging that had been stapled & taped back together. Shame, as product was good, but couldn't be used as a gift.

I love how easy it is to install – it took me just a few minutes to set it up without any hassle. The unkeyed design is perfect for situations where keyless entry is preferred, providing convenient access without the need for keys. The build quality is top-notch, as expected from Kwikset. The lock feels solid and durable, giving me peace of mind knowing that my home is secure. One thing to note is that it's always locked from the outside, so you'll need to remember to keep it unlocked when you're not at home to avoid getting locked out. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the Kwikset 663 Deadbolt Unkeyed Deadbolt Lock. It's reliable, easy to use, and provides the security I need for my home. Five stars!

Saw this on a youtube video about increasing your home security (no exterior lock to bump plus an additional contact point to the door frame) so decided to get one for the back door. Probably found it easier to install than most as I have a door handle jig. Simply lined it up and drilled my holes. Even with the purchase of the hole jig (bought one about three years ago for around 20 bucks), it is still cheaper than hiring a locksmith for $70 to install it. Now the back door has a deadbolt, the regular handle and the single sided deadbolt. Just another added level of security. We plan on getting one for the rest of our exterior doors. highly recommend

This is a one-sided deadbolt. It isn't visible from the outside of the door. There is no key. For installation, you need a 1-5/8" hole saw. That is an unusual size. If you use the common 1-1/2" hole saw, you will need to open up the hole on the top for the mechanism to clear. A chisel or dremel will do the job. A 1-3/4" hole saw might work. I didn't try a larger size. Another installation tip, most deadbolts and door knobs use a through-hole. It is a little harder to drill a hole 3/4 of the way through a door without breaking through the other side. Drill a 1/8" pilot hole first; then start the hole saw. After the hole saw is 1/2-inch into the door, Stop. Then remove the hole saw's center guide drill bit. That is no longer needed to guide the hole saw. That center drill bit would break through the far side of the door when the 1-5/8" hole is deep enough.
