This stuff is a revelation. I have a litter of pups at the moment, the vet bed absorbs the pee away from them and never feels wet. I have tried other bedding, towels, etc and that is when I have realised just how amazing this stuff is as everything else feels damp in no time. Its is bulky to wash but it dries really quickly. I wish I had been aware of this many puppies (babies?) and old dogs ago, and will be using it in all my dog beds from now on.

The only crate bedding my dogs have not destroyed! Comfortable and warm. Washes well. Fits crates perfectly. Both my dogs dig them and flip them over but no fluff has come off and they haven’t ripped so very safe. Good value for money.

I bought this to line the shelves in our degu cage (for 3 degus). I cut it to the size and shape of the levels, which was easy enough to do. Our degus haven't attempted to chew it (and they chew everything!!) It's absorbant, thick and warm, and the degus love taking naps on it. The downside is that it's so thick and woolly that lots of bits get trapped in the fur (hay dust, degu poos, bits of wood they've chewed off their toys) and it's impossible to get all that our before putting it in the washing machine. So we've found lots of little bits are getting stuck in our machine. I think this would be great for a cleaner pet, but degus are just too messy for this, which is a shame. It does wash well (despite the bits in our machine) and dries super quickly!

this is a simple cushioned matt .I used these years ago i haven't a clue why i stopped as they are perfect for the job. My dog has destroyed everything else but not even damaged this comfy easy to clean and warm for a great price .excellent

This is my third purchase, 2 for my cosseted dog and cat in the UK and this one for my elderly street dog in rural Jordan. He has a waterproof base mattress, but this provides snuggly warmth which he approved of from the moment it was put down. It's probably a bit small (my error, he's a big boy) so another larger one will be on it's way in a couple of months. They wash easily, dry quickly, retain their snugness and seem to last years. (For those concerned about his welfare, he has a specially built porch to protect from sun and rain and when it's very cold he's allowed in the utility room. He has a very thick coat and has always lived predominantly outside)

Great item, washes well and seems comfortable

We ordered 2 lots of this for our whelping box but now they they’re bigger and in the main crate I’ve ordered another 3mx75cm and cut it to size. The pups obviously widdle a LOT! The vet bedding allows it to drain though and collect under the green mesh backing. Stiff at first in the washing mashing but after 3-4 washes it all softens up. You DO NEED to brush it after washing whilst it’s wet - this allows the springy fluffy bounce that keeps the widdle away from their bodies (so keeping them warm and dry). I personally is ‘Pettezzer’ a teezer grooming brush and also a metal tool general robust brush and it brings it up like new each time - takes about 10 mins per 1mx75cm to brush but it’s worth the effort and will keep the bedding useable for a lot lot longer. Great in the dryer and about 20mins on high or 35 mins on low heat.

Works ok, definitely the puppy feels comfy in it. But it is not completely waterproof, his pee seeps through the floor. Otherwise washing it is easy.
