Kraken Black Spiced Rum Dark Caramel and Cornish Sea Salt, 70cl

I recently picked up a bottle of the Kraken Black Spiced Rum Dark Caramel and Cornish Sea Salt Limited Edition, and I’m seriously impressed! As a fan of spiced rum, I was intrigued by the unique twist of dark caramel and sea salt, and it did not disappoint. First off, the flavor is absolutely amazing. The smooth, rich notes of caramel are perfectly balanced with the hint of salty goodness from the Cornish sea salt, creating a complex and indulgent taste that’s both sweet and savory. The spiced undertones are still there, adding depth without overpowering the new flavors. It’s a fantastic sipping rum, but also works wonderfully in cocktails like a spiced rum old fashioned or even in a classic cola. The bottle itself is gorgeous, and the limited edition label makes it feel extra special. It’s a great addition to any home bar, especially if you want to impress guests with something a little different. The price is reasonable for a high-quality, limited-edition rum, and I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for more from Kraken in this flavor range. Highly recommend if you're a rum lover looking for something unique and flavorful!

I picked this up as a gift for a friend who’s really into rum, and he’s genuinely impressed with it. The caramel flavour comes through clearly without being sickly, and the overall profile is smooth enough that he’d happily drink it neat, which he rarely says about spiced rums. He also mentioned the smell straight away: warm, rich caramel with a hint of sea salt that makes it really inviting. If you enjoy sweeter, smooth rums or want something a bit special without going too premium, this limited edition is definitely worth trying.

Very very sweet not to my taste.

A nice tasting rum, my husband hadn't had this flavour before so I treated him to some while on offer. It was nice, he said, but not mouthwatering enough to bother with again. Smelled like normal Kracken, I couldn't smell any of the extra notes and he said it wasnt heavy on added flavours. Strength was usual. Overall, just a nice rum, went down nicely mixed with lemonade and drank straight but wont rush to buy again when I can get the normal for better value.

Good quality flavoured rum at a good price. If you like the original kraken and enjoy coffee, this will be a good version to try
