I was wanting a home defense weapon that was an alternative to a true firearm and this looked interesting to me. After getting it I realized it's quite large compared to what I'm used to firing but that hasn't been a problem at all while using it. In fact, it feels very secure in my hand and I feel confident it won't be easily taken out of my hand. The dummy rounds shoot straight and it wasn't difficult for me to hit a target 50 yards away, I can't speak to the pepper shots though as I still haven't used them. I also can't completely speak to how effective the pepper shots will be, but if they hold up to the Sabre standard for their pepper products, then they will work great when in need. Overall it's a well made item that is simple to use and a reliable product.

After being physically incapacitated by a series of injuries, I realized the very real need to protect my family and home. The pepper spray gel is also a nice add. All in all, this tool inspires confidence in security (though one we hope never to need!).

No shortcuts here. Shipping did take a surprisingly long time—longer than it should have by today’s standards—and that’s the only real drawback. Still, once it arrived, the quality made it clear why this wasn’t rushed. If you care more about how something performs and holds up over time than how fast it shows up at your door, this is a good buy. I’d order again, just with the understanding that patience is part of the deal.

My wife and I wanted to get something for our home that was non-lethal but would slow down someone that comes onto our property. We have had many car break in and other things happening in our neighborhood and want to deter who every is doing these things. The Sabre Home Defense Projectile Launcher was a great option. My wife and I were able to practice with this gun and used the testing projectiles that came with the kit. They say it has a range of 60 feet and it truly does. I would say it has more. It was very easy for her and I to fire the unit. This unit is worth the money and the peace of mind!!

This product The Saber Home Defense Launcher. Does indeed work well very well not to loud, no recoil. It hits hard enough to repel a would be attacker that’s not even including the mace/pepper balls. From a full CO2 cartridge it will reach with accuracy a distance of about 40/50 feet with force. And I have found that it will give roughly 14 shots per cartridge. With one draw back to it’s design that I have found being upon reloading the magazine there is no way to my knowledge of not prematurely discarding the CO2. Maybe if enough people speak on it they will bring a new method of reloading. Still I have to say that no household should be without at least one. After all it is still Non- Lethal.

This has more hitting power than my Umarex T4E pump shotgun. and rivals the Byrne LE. its a little less powerful than my Salt S2 but shoots much straighter than my S2. It is pop can accurate at 25 feet and has some of the best fiber sights I've seen in a while and a smooth trigger pull. For what it cost, I can put one in each car next to the fire extinguisher

I bought this for some non-lethal home defense after being attacked outside of my home. It’s definitely something that you want to be careful with. I made the mistake of shooting one of the pellets in my garage and it took me about five months to clear it out. Definitely effective I almost passed out so you have to be really careful when you want to use it Also please always have it ready because the cartridges and the loading will not be good to use in any kind of emergency. the safety feature is amazing It comes with a target practice and also the non-active balls which I would suggest you go out and practice outdoors far far away from anybody else with any of these active ones. You have to learn how to use it definitely and luckily, I have not had to use it for defense.
