It works well and is built well. It doesn’t leak and the spray quality is good.

I'm so glad to finally get my hands on a good LVLP spray gun. I simply do not have the space or money to set up the infrastructure needed to use a HVLP gun, so the low CFM consumption of this sprayer is a godsend. Are there drawbacks to LVLP over HVLP? Of course, but at my hobby level it's negligible and I either use a LVLP with negligible drawbacks, or I'm simply not able to spray at all. The choice is obvious. Most mid-sized compressors will be able to output the CFM needed to run this gun (4-5 CFM) compared to the big boy compressors needed for a HVLP (10-15+ CFM). The gun's trigger is a little floppy when not engaged, but other than that I couldn't be happier.

Could never get this to work. There was too many moving parts to it. Outside the package it looks simple but when you open it, it feels like you should become a rocket scientist to configure.

This is a handy and good paint sprayer. Works well and is easily adjustable for spray amount and direction. The only fussy thing is getting the paint the right thickness to spray, but that's standard with all sprayers. Clean-up is slow, but expected. No one has yet invented a spray system that is fast and easy to clean. I think this sprayer is a good value and I hope it lasts. I like the supply cup on the top. It doesn't hold a lot of paint, so it's good for small jobs, and works better than the vacuum type that suck it up out of a container below the nozzle.The quality of the finished paint job depends on your technique and the surface quality, so practice on some other surface first until you get the hang of it.

The R500 LVLP paint gun/sprayer includes some very professional attachments: a water/oil separator, an air regulator and 3 spray nozzles 1.3/1.5/1.7mm. The paint gun/sprayer was pre-packaged with the 1.3 mm nozzle.As I had never used a paint gun/sprayer with a compressor, my husband stepped in to help. Per manufacturer’s suggestion we used water to test it out. After taping up some paper, and hooking the paint gun to the compressor, my husband made the first pass. The trigger pull was smooth. The adjustment dials were incredibly easy to fine-tune the pattern and flow. Although it was only water, the result couldn’t have been more perfect. I tried it and was also impressed with the ease of operation. The fine spray pattern it produced was outstanding, no runs, no drips, no errors.Bottom line, this is an exceptional paint gun/sprayer that I’m looking forward to using on my next furniture project.

Easy to set up and use and the spray gun is well-made and adjust easily! Works great! Good value!

I was wanting something to do more than rattle can applications, but at the same time not something I needed a shop to use this in. This is leaning way over towards a shop application. I mean the quality behind this is so much better than my last LVLP gun.That being said, the instructions are not for the faint hearted nor the weekend warrior or occasional user. This is for the person who knows what they are doing and has done so for a bit and has the training behind them. Me, I'm going to have to take a class or get my buddy, who's a body guy, to show me just how to get the most out of this without ruining anything I aim it at. For the professional, this is a dream. Nothing feels cheap or chinsie. I am very impressed to say the least, and then it comes with three different nozzle setups to boot.

Allows me to paint with a low CFM consumer Air Compressor... Shot my wife's fairing and bags with this using a base coat, candy coat, Clear coat and turned out BEAUTIFUL!!!
