Geekworm PCIe Bottom Metal Case P580 for X1005/X1002 & Raspberry Pi 5 & Active Cooler

I specifically bought this case so I could use it with a Raspberry Pi and an M.2 HAT. It ended up working perfectly, although some aftermarket spacers are needed for it to line up just right. It’s been well worth it - the airflow is good, the build quality is solid, and it doesn’t have any sharp edges or downsides that I can see. Ultimately it’s a nice metal case with perfectly positioned holes, which is everything I was looking for.

great case for their board that goes under the Rpi. Fits well, sturdy. Great air flow. Holes match the various USB, video plugs. And can even use the mini-SD slot and the on-off button. And as a side note, the X1005 board is a great little board, holds 2 NVME cards, and the screws, of course, line up with this case. It is almost TOO good, LOL. Because it is such a sweet little setup, that I don't want to just put it in a corner running Home Assistant like I had planned. But it is a GREAT travel computer for a photographer, as you can set your Rpi to boot up, log in via wifi, and copy all your pics to it. And when home, copy them to your home drive or server, etc, fast. At least that is my plan with this little beauty! Is way cheaper and more versatile than the old purpose-built photo-backup hard drive I bought years ago.

Fit my pi and dual m.2 board perfectly. It even included additional standoffs for the pi. Would recommend for use with the geekworm dual m.2 under mount board and a pi 5.

This fits the Pimoroni NVMe base, although it's necessary to buy specific standoffs from Mouser or Digikey. Everything lines up perfectly and it does the job of protecting the RPi and its floppy delicate wires and cables. It's a little flimsy but I guess you get what you pay for.
