How heavy is this shirt?

It's about as thick as a typical soft fleece jacket. Think of it as a shirt made of jacket material.

Apparently they have more than one supplier. I have two of these shirts and one is made in China, the other in Cambodia

does this shirt run larger than normal?

I'm 5'10" and 215 pounds, 46" chest. A large fits me comfortably. If I were wearing it over two layers, say a henley and a flannel shirt, I'd want an XL, but over just the henley or T-shirt, large is fine.

Does this shirt shrink when washed?

This is 100% polyester fleece. It's not going to shrink. Also, you're probably not going to wear it next to your skin and it doesn't hold dirt like cotton will, so you probably won't wash it every time you wear it.
