Looks like Modelones is my go-to for press ons
About a year and a half ago I made the switch from polish to press ons, so I consider myself pretty experienced with these things and have tried numerous brands from Glamnetic to Kiss, Nail Reformation, Olive & June, LA Colors and etc. I was looking for a simple Halloween set with some black and some glitter and came across this set...I already recognized the Modelones brand name but had no idea they did press ons as well. Boy am I glad I tried these! Easily one of the highest quality sets I've ever applied, and at half the price of Glamnetic...they took the time to get the apex right and the nails are thick and sturdy, not flimsy at all. I work in retail management and my nails take a lot of abuse, so I'll update this review after I give them a trial run for a week, but so far they're looking solid. I also love the fact that they offer such a huge range of colors and am looking forward to trying more! EDIT 10/04/25: Man, I really had high hopes for these nails but unfortunately I developed chipping/splitting almost immediately after applying them (see second and third photos) which really surprised me...I'm still hoping it's just a fluke and I will be trying a couple more pairs before I make my final decision, because I'm otherwise so pleased with these. I suspect the issue might actually be that the nail is TOO sturdy, which makes it rigid and vulnerable to hard impacts. I noticed a split in one of my thumb nails and a pretty sizeable chip in my one index finger less than 24-48 hours after application.

My go-to press on nails for the fall and winter months!!
Please press on nails by modelones are my go to nails for the fall in winter. This is probably my fourth or fifth time purchasing this brand and it never disappoints. The black color has a beautiful shiny coat, the nails never chip, and the bottom of the nail lays flat and alignment with my nail bed, which is important to achieve a more natural look. That said, people are always surprised when I share that these are press on. I have purchased gel polish for model ones as well but now that I have abandoned gel polish forever, this is the safest, fastest, and most economical way to achieve a natural gel polish look without damaging your nails or dealing with allergies (I learned I was allergic to gel polish). I particularly Love the short, square, active length which allows me to type at work and do other activities around the house. Whenever I use this brand, the nails last for at least 3 weeks. The trick to long-lasting press on nails are fairly simple: buff your natural nails, push back the cuticles, use alcohol on a cotton ball or pad to brush across your nails to get rid of any oil, lightly file the inside of the press on nail if you can, Place a dot of glue on your natural nail and brush some glue on the press on nail, and HOLD IT for at least 60 seconds. Firmly hold and press on the nail for at least 1 minute so that the glue can adhere to the nail. I think in the past, I've been impatient and I expect the glue to bond immediately so that I can hurry up and move on to something else. Also, don't lift your hand while you're holding it and pressing the nail on. I think it's important to press and hold it, non-stop, for at least 60 seconds. That's it! That's the secret to long-lasting press on nails. I also use a brush-on glue but the nail brand also makes a difference as model ones is a brand that produces high quality products including their press on nails. These nails will always remain in my arsenal of beauty products.

Awesome nails!
This is my favorite brand! I switched to glue on nails over a year ago and had tried many. While there are others I like that are good quality, I always come back to this brand for the best fit. There's a lot of nail sizes available in the package. They look natural but are sturdy, I've never had one crack or chip. I do not ever use French tip in any color because those I have found do chip regardless of brand as the tip part is painted on and not a through and through color usually. I use the same brand brush on glue and my nails will last 10 days to 2 weeks

Pretty and so easy to apply
Update: As pretty as these are, I removed them in less than a week. Nothing wrong with the product at all and the 5 star review remains. As a newbie, I just couldn’t get used to the thickness. I loved the look of them and they stayed shiny and firmly attached. The jelly adhesive was really strong so I just wiggled and pried them off. There was no residue or damage on my natural nails from the adhesive. Original: This is my first attempt at press on nails. The instructions were easy to follow. I prepared by fitting each nail and then lining the nails up in order so I wouldn’t accidentally apply the wrong one. I used the jelly adhesive vs the glue. A couple of observations as a newbie: I found about half of the nails to be too large, and some of them are very curved and uncomfortable. I guess they will get thrown out, which seems wasteful. The length once applied looked too long for my taste so I easily trimmed them and then shaped them. Lastly, and this might just be operator error, but I don’t like the thickness of the nails and how there’s a tiny gap at the top of the nail near my cuticle. It doesn’t feel natural. If they wee thinner I would totally love them. Overall I do like the look of them and the ease of application was so simple. You could do them anywhere because the supplies are minimal and there’s no odor. They do feel very secure so I’m curious to see how long they stick and if any residue will be left.

pretty, hold shape & last a long time with good glue.
these are really good nails. they are more like acrylics. they hold their shape.. not bendy, etc. & when coupled with curvelife gel glue, they are amazing & long lasting. i work with my hands making custom bags & i have no problems with these nails. 👍🏻🎀🤍ive turned a lot of people on to this brand. maybe il get a kick back, lol. 😉

It’s complicated
It’s complicated Pros: strong, glue is very good, comes with everything you need, still on after almost a week of rough wear, good sizes to choose from, actually short as stated Cons: too curved for my fingernail beds, but did stay on despite that, the chrome is HORRIBLE- flaked off, faded. Color also faded after first day. All in all, the nail quality is wonderful for the price - it’s just that the polish needs work. You could seal with a gel topcoat if you have it, but I do not have the tools to do that.

Very pretty green color
These are a very pretty green. Dark forest green with good shine. They’re thick and substantial. They are curved a bit, so if you have a flatter nail bed I think they may not sit on the nail securely. Also, they send a bunch of the most gigantic thumb nails I’ve ever seen. They’re like ogre sized monster thumbs. You’ll have to throw about 6-8 nails away unless you’re from Where The Wild Things Are.
