I ordered this case in black, to fit my new Fire. Its and exact fit and sturdy. I like the fact that it automatically wakes my reader. All the ports are easily available, and the feel of it is great. Real Leather feeling. I also like the fact that it folds back to hold the unit freely at an angle on the counter, making it easy to read while using a recipe book. --Almost like carrying a small notebook. Everything at my fingertips. The Crystal clear display, very easy to use reader. I like the fact that I can load my apps and games, along with my books and have internet with Wi-Fi connection, every where I go, and that it fits nicely inside my bag. The dual speaker sound is very good quality. My music sounds nice, and NOT like its inside a tin can. Only thing missing is the phone feature, but I don't think I would look very good, holding a book up to the side of my head. LOL --I love this thing, and I know I will use the heck out of it. Also the battery life of the Fire seems to hold up nicely, even a little better than my smart phone. Nice product for the price. Thank you!

I was very disappointed in the Exact Amazon Fire Case. This case does not allow you to take pictures with Kindle Fire HD 7, the hole is in the wrong place. Therefore, you must remove the Kindle from the case to take any pictures. I can barely squeeze the charger into my Kindle as the faux leather is in the way. My biggest problem with this case is not being able to adjust the angle when propping up my Kindle. You only have one option, which is landscape (horizontal), the Kindle sits at a 90 degree angle with the table. It is uncomfortable looking down at a small device on a table without the option to tilt the screen up toward your face. I end up holding my Kindle in my hands in order to read or watch videos. I listen to old Radio shows on my Kindle at night when I go to bed. I like it that the cover does not turn the device off when you close the cover, however, the cover does muffle the sound a bit when closed.I recently ordered the roocase Kindle Fire HD 7 2014 and I am satisfied as I am able to adjust the angle of the device and take pictures, however, this case also is faulty with the faux leather in the way when trying to insert the charger. Both are rather flimsy in the material they are made of and the velcro probably won't last, but for the price, the roocase was the better option.

This is a nice little case for the price. I like the style and the cover looks good. It does a good job protecting the Kindle.My biggest complaint would be that (at least for me) it's difficult to tell exactly what generation Kindle I have. I got mine in Dec 2012 as a gift, but I'm not sure which generation it's from. I don't know how to tell. Therefore, for me, picking out any case is pretty much a guess.I like this case even though it's not perfect for my Kindle. The power button and charge plug was covered. It was a simple fix to cut a little hole in the material there. I don't feel the little kickstand works well, but considering I don't place it on a hard surface I really don't expect it to. I like the stylus holder on the side, I use it often.

It was rated four star only because it's just been purchased as a gift and hasn't been very long. But so far I can see the enjoyment with the user. Great item in my opinion.The "User" did say that he feels the battery in the Kindle Fire HD 7 doesn't maintain a long enough charge.I actually had the same thought with my Kindle Fire. Also the charge insert site recedes after a while not allowing my Kindle to charge properly. But I still love my Kindle. Hope this helps.

This case is more than adequate to protect the device and keep the screen from debris or scratches. While it may not take excessive punishment it is durable enough when the device is handled appropriately. The appearance is attractive and worthy of the device. The back folds completely flat when open allowing ease of reading either in hand or on the stand at the treadmill. Excellent value for the price.

The case fits snugly to the HD7 and is just the right size for it. The back stand works very good for setting it up on a desk, etc. The only problem is that the cover blocks a little section of the rear camera. It will put a little shadow on the bottom left corner of the photo. But if you press down on the back part of the cover near the camera, it will unblock the camera section . The camera takes very decent photos, but I mainly use my Kindle for reading books. Over all I really am pleased with the Kindle Case and for the great price of it.

Excellent buying experience. Mary a problem there. Delivered as quick as promised. Cover was of very excellent quality. However, it was not exactly a fit for my kindle HD. Fit in the case perfectly but the charging port was covered as was the on off button. A quick modification with an exacto hobby knife solved that problem though. The fix is not noticeable unless one looks for it. I would say that the description and specifications need to be more accurate. I would recommend this but be sure you understand if it is an exact fit for your device.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my mother. It arrived quickly and we'll packaged. It felt a little more "plasticy" than I expected --definitely not leather. I think my mother will like all the same. It will hold and protect her new Kindle and will prop it up when she wants to watch movies. All in all I think this was a good purchase.
