It is rare that I write a review, but I needed to for this product. My family and I are recovering from the influenza. Our warmies did not make it through our illness. So, I ordered this Axolotyl, and I was so impressed with its quality. It really retains heat well. And, the stuffie is very soft and cute, and has provided much comfort to my son and daughter who really needed it when they weren't feeling well. I highly recommend this product for families.

I usually don’t rate items right away, but I’m honestly impressed with this microwave axolotl. The clay beads are warm enough after one min even in our low watt microwave. I very much prefer the removable clay pouch over the warmies brand where the whole stuffie has to go in the microwave. The warmies brand stuffies start to smell god awful after being microwaved so many times due to the lavender and flaxseed in it. Which is another reason why I went to this unscented one! This brand of microwave stuffies is already a hit at our house. My 8yr old can take care of it himself. It is very effective, he likes that it has a little weight to it. He also likes that there are no poking lavender seeds coming out like the other brands. We love this cute green axolotl and its size is perfect! Very comparable to the warmies brand for size!

This is my daughter's favorite toy , she sleeps with it and carries.it everywhere it washes easily and it holds together well , it's soft and the rice bag is easily removable to microwave I also accidentally washed the removable warm bag in the washer and it didn't fall apart or get weird for the water I'm guessing the beads inside are silica or something not actual rice or beans so ot makes it durable against moisture. It warms fast and works well for comfort , the proce is reasonable and design is adorable my daughter ususes it all the time and beats it up without it falling apart , we've had to replace the original a couple times because my dog torenup the first one and we lost the second one , but as for being tossed around. By a toddler it gold up well especially for the price

The axolotl is super cute! The heating pouch is removable, so you can wash the "stuffy" part of this. It appears to be well-made and should hold up to regular use.

Very cute design, soft and vibrant colors. Lightweight and durable! I bought this for my autistic daughter. I will say, if you or the individual you are buying for has sensitivity to smells I would be a bit hesitant to purchase. The initial smell was fine to my daughter but after microwaving the heat bag the smell was overwhelming for her. I ended up spraying some lavender spray onto it and that helped a lot for her. So we spray it every time she hears it up. The smell is strong enough that she prefers it to not be heated up unless her pains are really bad The heat provides comfort for her menstrual cramps as well as body aches and pains.
