perfect fit
Bought this as a direct replacement for our shower and the previous one cracked over time and was leaking and lost pressure. This was so easy to install. Simple unscrew the old and screw the new one on.

Aqualisa Hydramax identical replacement shower head.
I can only concur with what other reviewers have said. The Aqualisa Hydramax has a non standard thread, so buying any alternative to fit really is a non starter. I've been the man in the plumbing shop trying to source a replacement head to replace the leaking one. The shower head itself is made of chromed plastic, so well over priced for what it is. It does however come with the pivoting ball joint to attach the head to the arm of the shower, which is made of chromed metal. I didn't need this part for my situation as I just needed the head. I guess the joint itself might fail or leak so getting this is a plus, but I suspect unnecessary for a lot of people unless you choose to change that part too when you swap out the head. It is very simple to fit and within a minute you can have the new shower head in place and working. You don't need a wrench to do the swap, but you will if you change the ball joint. We'll see how long it lasts, but now at least know what to source and where to get it in future.

Great replacement shower head
The item came fast and was of a good quality

Does the job
Bought one of these to replace a 10year old unit that has developed a crack. Easy to fit and restored shower head performance back to normal. Only thing is say is that it’s a bit on the pricey side but thankfully you don’t have to change these things that often.

Worth the money!
I really struggled to find a genuine shower head for my Aqualisa shower, never thinking I’d get one here but so glad I did in the end. It fits perfectly (the AL is a non standard thread so hard to find replacements) and this adds great pressure to the shower head as well with its design. Worth every penny!

Fits, but expensive
If you’re looking and wondering …. Then yes, this is the one that fits where no others do - but you have no choice but to pay £50 for a £5 shower head.
