I always love it when there is a supernatural presence in the story other than horror.Riley is a closet psychic who fights not to know about her powers but when she had a vision of her neighbor getting shot, she couldn't ignore it as a food poisoning hallucination.This story is fun with lot of laugh out moments.Easy read.

If you know me, you’d know that I love Lucy Score’s books and when I got the opportunity to read the ebook, I couldn’t stop myself from diving into it as soon as I got the chance. I had so much fun reading this one. This book also kind of reminded me of the Finlay Donovan series and because I really enjoyed that series, it didn’t take much for me to love this book and the characters too.The plot had me hooked from the start- with Riley seeing visions and how all her visions came true, to the way every single character was so helpful and also so very funny at the same time had me cracking up. That last scene with the mayor had me laughing out loud but also scared for most of them because of how messy it all got. If you’re looking for something fun with a dose of some mystery and elderly folks who loves having a code word for emergencies, then this is definitely that book for you;) I’ve already read a few chapters of the second book and I love how chaotic it is already!

Comedy is gold. The way you brought all the characters to life, it was like i was watching a movie. We need more of Gabe and Mrs Penny. In fact i would be genuinely disappointed if this book wasn't made in to a movie.

This is the 3rd book I've read by this author and she's become a favourite rather quickly! It took me a little while to get into the book but once I got into the flow, I couldn't stop! Loved the main characters, the secondary characters, the mayhem - everything about the book! I experienced quite a few snickering and then laugh out loud moments at the histrionics of the secondary characters. The ending suggests another book to follow and I'm eagerly looking forward to that! :) If you enjoy mysteries, romance, crazy people then go for it!
