The Zagg Canvas screen protector makes handwriting with an Apple Pencil on an iPad almost exactly like writing on paper. Installation is fairly easy to accomplish, just make sure you vacuum & dust around your workspace before attempting to install or you’ll get pet hair or dust motes between the film and the screen and be disappointed.

Had no issues with install or alignment. No dust no bubbles fits perfectly. Lines up with camera, face ID, etc. How’s a nice paperlike feel and works flawlessly with pencil pro. The texture is not too or grainy. The screen protector is also very thin, which is nice. Only negatives are it does make your screen a tiny bit less clear, but it’s very minor. Anti glare isn’t the best. It also smudges really bad but cleans up easy with a microfiber cloth. Overall I think it does what it’s supposed to quite well.

I waited to unwrap my brand-new iPad until this screen protector arrived, expecting a seamless installation process. Unfortunately, the installation tray was completely useless—it didn’t align with the holes on the screen protector film at all. This misalignment caused the protector to stick incorrectly, which I had to fix by unsticking and repositioning it. Now, there are bubbles under the protector that I can’t remove, and they interfere with using the Apple Pencil. Additionally, because the protector isn’t aligned properly, it sits too close to the edges and has already started lifting. Whether this is a defective product or just poorly designed, it’s disappointing. I expected much better quality and will be returning it.

Had issue fitting it on the divots. Also, used clean disk to install it, and cleaned screen several times to be safe. Yet still I have bumps from dust particles. For the price, a second one should have been included.

It’s great that this comes a rig to properly install, but when I installed mine it was off-center. Product itself is great, writing with an Apple Pencil is a joy, now

Okay, full disclosure: I ordered the wrong size, so I haven't actually used this. However! I have used Zagg brand screen protectors in the past, and I have used a (smaller than 13") iPad, and I can extrapolate the user experience based on that. I took the cover off of this thing and stuck it on top of my (too small) iPad, and used my Pencil Pro on it. The texture of the protector is great; it has a nice paper-like feel and it completely takes care of the weird plastic-sliding-on-glass feeling that you get with naked iPad or typical screen protectors. It comes with a bracket and very detailed instructions for installation. It includes a squeegee, a little cloth, a dust removal sticker, and a wipe. They've made it so straightforward to install that you'd have to try to get it wrong. The thing I would watch for, and I cannot check for because again, wrong size - is that it doesn't reduce visibility on your iPad. I have other paper-like covers and that's the one downside to them; the texture means your screen isn't as clear. Please read the other reviews to see if people are experiencing that before you buy, as this one is affixed with adhesive and cannot be easily removed at your leisure like the magnetic ones can. If you're looking for a high quality paper-like screen protector for your iPad, this is a good choice. Zagg has been making high quality iPad protectors for over a decade at this point, and if you're looking for a paper-like protector, this is going to solve the problem you're having. But, uh, double check the size before you order.
