Lovely pens but problems with practicality

Really happy with look, feel and writing with these pens. I was even able to buy extra refills. The problems are that I was unable to twist top to expose point for writing, and to open pens to change refills. After much effort my husband managed to loosen tops, and so far has opened 2 pens. They are just too tight!
