Arrma RC cars are great!
For the price, this little desert truck is a great deal! Arrma builds their vehicles to last, and this Mohave Grom is no exception. The body comes with a very tough, pre-installed, interior cage that makes this little basher a great deal for the price. it's fast, right out of the box and with 3 different speed levels to choose from, it can be easily controlled by either the youngest RC'er in the family and then with the flick of a finger on the controller, it shows its true ability to the more experienced drivers in the family!! For the price, and what comes in the box... plus its quality overall... it cant be beat!

Best brushed RC for the price.
This RC truck is a fantastic entry point for anyone wanting to get into RC bashing. The Mojave Grom delivers a great balance of performance, durability, and value. It's a truly enjoyable RC that provides hours of entertainment. The fact that it is a brushed motor vehicle, also makes it a great vehicle for those who are new to the RC world. It is easier to maintain. Highly Recommend! If you want a tough, fun, and manageable RC truck, the Arrma Mojave Grom with the brushed motor is an excellent choice. You won't be disappointed!

Amazing rc truck. Great deal for your money!
Amazing short course style Arrma Mojave Grom. The truck arrived in a well packaged and secure box. No damage to the box or the truck and Contents. This rc I decided on purchasing due to the fact that it had everything to run the truck right out of the box. You don't have to purchase AA batteries separately or the lipo battery or charger. It's a well thought out rc. The truck is built very tough and is durable as they come. Very scale in looks and performance. Something that a teen to a adult would be able to operate and have hours of fun with. So if your wanting a rc off road or on road truck that's easy to transport and take with you anywhere this rc truck is for you. I'd really highly recommend this rc truck to anyone who is looking for a small truck design that has it all.

Great little Truck!
This little truck is an absolute blast! I already own the larger Mojaves, so I couldn’t resist picking up the smaller version. Took it to the skate park on its first run alongside the Mojave 4S, and they actually handle pretty similarly in that environment. I threw a brushless conversion on it, which was a blast, but at full speed, it was a bit too much for the tight quarters of the park—fun but kind of hard to control. The controller is a great design, small enough for kids to handle easily, yet still feels comfortable in adult hands. The three power modes are a fantastic touch—perfect for younger drivers or when you want to reign in the truck a bit. With the brushless upgrade, you can hit 50mph in 100% mode, but if you need to tame it down, the 50% setting brings it back to a more sensible speed for safer fun. It doesn’t need a brushless conversion to be fun it’s great as is and if you decide you want more power or any other upgrades they’re readily available here on Amazon. It went out of control at 50+ mph and nothing has broken it’s hardly even scratched somehow. All in all an awesome purchase!

Simply awesome
AWESOME! I have owned many traxxas trucks and can honestly say this is so much more fun, I purchased for my 7 year old son but have a hard time not playing with it myself. It takes a beating and is built like a tank it will not break. I was shocked on just how fast it is, there’s just something about a smaller rc truck it’s just fun! It handles amazing the suspension is great right out of the box. And yes it is ready to run you don’t need to purchase anything else. So cool I had to buy another one we now have 2 to race each other.

Broke 2 in less than a month
I bought one of these trucks. I had a blast driving it, so I purchased a second one. The second truck I purchased the steering broke after the second use. I managed to take the broken part off the steering servo and replace it. I was running both trucks on the street later with a friend. That’s when I noticed the one I was driving start to act weird. I took it home and found that the problem was that the differential broke in the rear. I took the other truck out to test it and it had a broken diff as well. All we did that broke them was just doing donuts in the street. I wouldn’t buy this car if you are unable to repair it. The outputs on the diff are plastic. Apparently these are common failures. There seems to be a decent aftermarket to fix these issues. They are well known issues at this point. It’s kind of a shame because the truck does drive great.

Fantastic looks, ripping performance, just small issues
Great vehicle, looks great and performs fantastic. With 2s lipo, this thing is pretty quick. Also, the body looks great with easy clip on- off. But I had QC issue: front shock on the right had oil, but no e-clip to hold the piston, so it was free moving just on springs. I have 2 more Mojave brushless, and one has diff issues. This brushed one on 2s should last longer on diffs. Great price when it was on sale, worth the money.

Great car.
Worth every penny, however the charger broke, as many others have complained, almost instantly. Since I was doing a brushless upgrade it wasn't a big deal for me. Way faster and better built then my Latrax and that's without ever being able to actually charge the factory battery. If you plan on keeping the car brushed, nothing wrong with it plenty fast from the factory, buy a decent charger or change the factory leads and enjoy. DO NOT expect the factory charger will work. It's crap and they'd be better off not including it. It was only a capacitor that went bad, a simple fix. However there are approximately 0 schematics that tell the specification of that capacitor and I tried 4 different ones none of which worked. I ended up deciding since it charges lipos it wasn't worth the risk to fix. Put too large of a capacitor in next thing you know it's charging to 4.8 volts. Just expect you need a charger from the beginning and problem solved. Update: I just bought a Typhon and the exact same thing happened. So it's definitely the charger. Skip this unless you want it as a chassis. In other words you plan to go brushless from the start or buy a new charger.
