Pyramid Curse Bowling Ball

It is not as strong a ball as I was expecting. I had more spares caused by the ball not driving through the pocket. I have only returned to bowling for a short while so I do not want to downgrade it more than one star because I need to go back and see if this holds true as my release improves. I did purchase a stronger ball and it reacts as I expected. However, too many variables including lack of a good fundamentals on my behalf prevents me from rating this ball lower. It also means you should be cautious to discount this ball. Also lane conditions at the place I bowl have not been incredibly consistent either. However, on the best shots I made with this ball I was not in love with it. The new ball I got really hits with a lot of force so for me it does seem to be a better ball for me.

Waiting to get back onto the lanes this month, but I was using this ball for several sessions in Feb and March. First, my pro shop guy said he would set me up as strong as possible, but I shouldn't expect this ball to be as strong as my Hammer Black Widow. Probably with an apples-to-apples setup, the Black Widow would be stronger. But I didn't drill the Black Widow on the strong side. The Curse was drilled to maximize down lane strength. I does not disappoint. I can only use it on fresh THS. After a couple games, I could not keep it right of the nose. But that's what I wanted it for. I'm looking forward to testing it on heavier patterns, but I expect I will have to put an even stronger ball into my arsenal for tournaments.

I’m just getting into bowling and bought this due to good reviews and reasonable price. I switched from a low hook potential ball to this and my average and consistency improved quite a bit. I used it in the last half of league play and saw a big jump in my average. The most important thing is that better bowling makes it more fun.
