My parents prefer fine bone china mugs. It took a long time to get them used using mugs instead of cups. They’ve always gone for pretty patterned mugs. Although they are dishwasher proof, they won’t put them in because the pattern wears away and makes them look awful. I have to agree with them on this point. This set of six bone china mugs overcome this hurdle. There is no pattern to wear off. The only wear that will probably happen is the gold rims wearing. They usually wear out even if you hand wash. This set will be used for their everyday cups of tea and coffee. I’ll stick to my own thick china mugs as prefer them. This set comes well packaged with each mug separately packed in a plastic bag inside a cardboard box and then that box inside yet another box. Even with all this packaging, one mug did have a very small chip on the base but it’s not really a problem. Apart from that, they are all in perfect condition. Overall, a low-cost set of fine bone china mugs that are both attractive and practical.
