Very surprised.
In my day job I get to play with a lot of nice equipment from the bigger manufacturers. For the little job I needed this for it passed a test with flying colours. Very happy with it.

Excellent Wireless Microphone System for Events and Performances
The setup was incredibly easy—plug in the receiver to my speaker, turn on the handheld mic, and I was ready to go within minutes. The sound quality is outstanding. I was pleasantly surprised by how clear and crisp the audio is, with minimal feedback. I’ve used it both for singing and speaking engagements, and it performed beautifully in both situations. The range is impressive too; I was able to move around the room, even going outside, without any drop in audio quality. I appreciate the versatility of having both a handheld microphone and a lavalier mic. The handheld mic feels sturdy and well-balanced, which is great for long sessions. The headset mic is perfect for hands-free use, especially when I’m leading group activities or dancing around during karaoke. One of my favorite features is the 15 channels available. It’s easy to switch between them, which is a big advantage if you’re in a crowded area with other wireless devices. This has helped avoid interference during events, allowing us to focus on the fun instead of technical difficulties. Battery life has also been impressive so far. I’ve used it for several hours without needing to change the batteries, which is a huge convenience during events. Overall, I highly recommend this product for anyone in need of a reliable wireless microphone system. Whether it’s for karaoke, church events, or parties, this system delivers excellent performance and ease of use. It has truly elevated our gatherings!

Excellent microphone system
Having already owned and used TONOR microphone systems in the past, I had no hesitation in ordering this set. What really attracted me to it, other than previous brand experience, was the headset, lapel mic and bodypack. I have a couple of small PA systems that I use mainly for karaoke purposes and occasional uses as a public address system at sports events. I prefer to connect my receivers via the balanced XLR connections as I feel this provides the best possible sound and also allows each microphone channel to be independently controlled via the amplifier. The TONOR receiver allows for this, whilst also offering a single 6.35mm output if that's all you have available. Individual channel volumes are also available on the from of the receiver for convenience. Each handheld microphone is powered using 2 x AA batteries, which I much prefer than the square 9V battery type. The batteries in each mic last a long time but the easy availability of AA replacements means you won't have to look far for new batteries. The sound quality from all of the microphone types is excellent. I've never experienced any form of breakup from TONOR microphones as the range has always more than met my requirements, even in very large gym-type halls. This is a fantastic microphone set that should cater for most people's requirements. It is also excellent value for money when compared to some of the better know microphone brands and I have no hesitation in recommending this set.

Reasonably priced microphone system, suitable for small scale/non-professional events
This is a review of the TONOR Wireless Microphones System. The most important thing to know about this system is that the audio output is from a 6.35mm (1/4 inch) audio socket. Your audio device (speaker, amplifier, karaoke machine, PA system, etc.) must be connected to this, so if it doesn’t have a 6.35 input you will need an adapter (the cable provided is 6.35 mm male on both ends). Set up is pretty straightforward. You need batteries for the handheld microphone and for the bodypack which connects to the headset mike or lapel mike (2 x AA batteries for each). The receiver unit has its own mains power supply plug adapter. You power up the receiver, then turn on the mike and/or body pack and they pair automatically with the receiver. They connect on separate channels, so that you can use both at the same time. You can then change broadcast channel on each one independently if there are any interference issues. The handheld mike feels very solid and good quality (should stand up to a lot of use). It has an on/off button and an illuminated digital display showing the broadcast channel and battery level. To change the channel, you need to press a small button that is inside the handle (next to the battery compartment). There is no volume control on the mike itself. The bodypack and its mikes don’t feel anywhere near as durable. They are light – which is good – but they feel rather plasticky and flimsy. I wouldn’t expect these to take so much use. The bodypack has an on/off/mute button, volume buttons, an illuminated display showing the broadcast channel and battery level, and a set button which changes the channel. Sound quality and range are good enough for most situations in which a system like this is likely to be used. This is a reasonably priced, good quality system, suitable for small scale/non-professional applications such as private parties (DJ or karaoke), public address (e.g. school fetes & sports days, club events, etc.), and general ‘talk to an audience’ instruction or presentation.

Easy set-up and impressive range and performance
Not having owned one before, this wireless microphone set looked, at first glance, rather complicated. In practice though, it was an absolute doddle to set up and I was testing its capabilities within a couple of minutes. You will need 4 x AA batteries, 2 for the sender unit and two for the mic itself. The wireless receiver has its own DC power supply. A standard 1/4" audio cable (electric guitar lead) is provided, which I connected to my guitar's practice amp and I was ready to rock. Vocals and an acoustic instrument like my banjolele work very well through this system. In terms of distance, I got my grandson to take the microphone to the other side of the house and I could still hear him, clear as day through my amp, with no interference. It was only with the units in close proximity and when I cranked the volume up to max and added a bit of gain, that I got the dreaded feedback squeal. I guess I need to experiment a bit more to find the optimum positioning and settings. I did notice that the receiver unit does get a bit warm after a while, but not alarmingly so. I'm going to lend this to my daughter next, as she does fitness classes and is keen to try this system with the wireless headset. For the reasonable purchase price, this seems to be a very versatile and effective wireless mic system and I'm happy to recommend it. **** Update **** My daughter used it today to present a fitness class and said the wireless system was "brilliant". Her only minor criticism was that the headset felt a bit flimsy. It worked perfectly though, so still merits a 5-star review.
